Didn't affect the audio quality on mine. And I think you have to really mess it up, or the wires are damaged, for it to affect the audio quality, so I'd say this aspect is low-risk.
If you've soldered anything before, it's not that risky. But if not, then I get it. On the other hand, if you consider it "junk" anyway, then maybe worth the risk. 🙃
If the top area of the headband isn't damaged like in my case. The top area seems more durable. I just rubbed off the pu from the bottom side of the headband and changed the earpads. Good as new. The bottom of the headband is pure black underneath the pu leather. So you wouldn't even notice anything was there once you clean em properly. I just used my hands to rub off the material. No need to risk damaging your headphones.
I started with tricopter , 8 inch props about 40cm wide a while back. I was using a KK2 board at first and it had great flight characteristics, nearly like an aircraft. Then switched to Ardupilot and it was much more stable but not as enjoyable to fly. I might resurrect it on modern hardware following your video.. or just restore it and fly it again as it is. But thanks for bringing back the tricopters !!
I got the headband and ear parts last year but finally the soldering kit yesterday. It was easier than I anticipated. I don’t know how many times I watched this video lol. Thanks so much. I have a brand new headphones now and I feel like a hero.
Confused between the cinebot 30 and the cinelog 35, have a hero 11 mini and a full size hero 10, Want to fly a bit of indoors too like inside gyms or concert auditoriums, Also I am using analog, do you think the cinebot is too nimble to carry full size gopro? which one do you recommend? I dont want to do crazy freestyle with this as I have my 5 inch for that, just something which can do both indoors and outdoors and can handle medium gust of wind outdoors
Since you mentioned indoors, I would say go with the Cinebot30. Still have it, still fly it (not always for slow cinematic cause it can also pick up some speed!). GoPro is no problem especially with a light 1100mah battery and Hero 11 mini. It can carry a full size GoPro but you'll feel the weight. It is powerful for the size, though I haven't flown it in strong winds. All this talk about weight won't be that much of a problem with the Cinelog35 but it is a bit bigger and more powerful, so windy situations are also fine. Some nimble finger skills could get you flying indoors with it too with enough practice.
Thanks a lot. I have just done it. I have procrastinated it for more than a year. Too afraid of the soldering part. Today, i give it a try. Just be sure to have a tool to grab the green card when resoldering the wires and it will be easier than it seems.
I would like to know if it is the same as if I am doing on the other side speaker? Because on the other side, maybe it is without the control button or battery. it will more easy, am I correct?

@@ImaginationTech you mean 'doesnt keep changing' with using thumb1 or thumb2 ?? You mean it possible for exposure consistenly keep it light when go to dark or to bright condition with setting the iso or shutter?
@@varidzain7468 correct, a lot of cameras (including GoPros) have the option of setting a fixed exposure. The downside is if you get this wrong, you're video will either be too bright or too dark. The camera won't automatically adjust.
@@crismarktenebroso103 you can use this video as a guide, but if you've never built a drone before it can be a challenge. What's your experience level at?
Guess I did! In my defense that usually is determined by the industry not the charger e..g Li-Ion is usually 4.10v max, LiPo is 4.20v, and LiHV is 4.35V, but I shouldn't have expected everyone to know that.
Can I use only the blheli to tell the motors which direction to turn? My esc doesn't have the proper firmware to work with betaflight and I just replaced one motor and its going the wrong direction
Thanks for the video, it was very helpful. 1. I highly recommend disconnecting the battery from the board first just in case. 2. You only have to remove the pin for the left side. 3. No need to remove the square board, plus helps holding it when soldering wires on and off. 4. When inserting the new headband, fold the wires back and insert all together. No need for the paint brush guide.
I turned back too late. I thought 22V was enough to go back home, but it was already 6mins in, and in an earlier test a 1300mah LiPo could only go around 9 1/2 minutes.
Oh no! You might get by with CA glue or some other strong epoxy or glue you have available. But, as the plastic band experiences quite some stresses, not sure if it will last. Will hopefully give you a couple more good months though before it breaks again.
