This channel highlights the off road enthusiasts in the St. George Utah area. While the name may say "Jeepers", we welcome all four wheel drive vehicles. Most of our trail runs take place on Tuesdays and cover most of SW Utah, some parts of Arizona and even into Nevada. We are an all inclusive group and have no requirements for membership. Just bring your positivity and a can do attitude. We truly hope to see you out on one of our trail runs.
like at the amusement rides... keep hands anbd feet in the vehicle at all times... unless your Ricky Bobby and you dont know what to do with your hands...
We'll give you the benefit of the doubt and give you an explanation even though you're being a smartass. For clean air ingestion when driving down dusty roads. The higher the air intake, the cleaner the air. Bill probably goes on a lot of group rides and when you aren't in front, you get dusty air. It's also quite possible that Bill uses his rig in places that aren't the desert. And even in the desert, there's water. Maybe try not to be such a noob with your next comment.
Great video of the trail! Some of those belly scrapes make me think twice trying in my longer wheel base tacoma. You think there's better lines for those obstacles? Front skids but no belly armor other than sliders
Awesome video! Thanks for sharing. Is this the same trail as Red Canyon 2.5? I'm taking my family to St. George for the 1st time and we are looking for fun trails for our 4x4 Armada.
While there isn’t a depiction of a native giving birth, there is a pictograph of a VG on the floor of the cave. ( a circle with a straight line down the middle). So I’m calling it Cave of Conception!
@@st.georgejeepers5517 There is actually a collection of pictographs near there, with all the "men" sporting over size equipment. I check out a lot of native art, not much else out there like it. Indeed, dirty pics!
I love your video's! I'm going to be in sand hollow on the 27th of Feb. 2023 for the first time. I'm going to be alone but I can't wait, It looks Incredible. Thanks for all the info on what trails to run.
Well, if you need a recovery and want to be on RU-vid, you could always call Matts Offroad Recovery. But, most locals in a pickle will just call Dixie Four Wheel Drive. They'll be able to get someone out to you pretty quick.
Good footage, but I would like to hear less spotting from the camera person, it's kind of like talking to your elderly mother on the phone, she yelling, thing you cant here her but your having to hold the phone 6" from your ear.
You mentioned something about the temperature gauges on the Jeeps not working in 4 low. I don't think that has anything to do with it. One thing that I've noticed with mine is it seems to stop working when I'm driving real slow and the sending unit is getting heat from the engine or it gets wet. Then it just freezes at whatever it was reading last until it gets fresh dry air again.
Great video! Absolutely love South UT! Seeing quite a few of the rigs on this, reminds me one of the best mods I've done is get my 40" on a carrier in the cargo area of my JK and not hanging off the back 2 feet. Puts the weight where its needed and keeps it from hanging off rocks.
I guide through there all the time. The trail you took from peek-a-boo to the Great chamber is rarely used by full sized vehicles. Probably got some nice Utah pinstripes. That's awesome you all went through.
When are you all headed back out to sand hollow again? New to the area and just joined the group and based on the schedule it doesn’t look like there are any runs out there the rest of the year.
I'm sure they'll add a few runs in as the summer goes on. I don't have any specific plans to head out and as of right now, our Jeep needs some repairs. Welcome to the club though!
My family an I will be out there for the first time with our jeep in July this year any possibility of getting a guide for for sand hollow or anything?
Heading from Cedar City to do this trail in a couple weeks. Great video Jake, (Mountain biker Jake?) What would you recommend for tire pressure? This will be my first time in sand. I'm in a 2021 Bronco on 35s.
Yep, I'm probably "Mountain Biker Jake". You'll love Razzle Dazzle. I assume you aren't on beadlocks. I'd start at 18 PSI and possibly drop to 15. No lower or you risk de-beading the tire. Let us know how it goes.
@@st.georgejeepers5517 This is Rusty Slade I helped coach the Iron Giants a few years ago. I thought that was you. I'm just starting to get into off-roading.
I thought so. It's a fun and expensive slippery slope. I have good friends who have a 21 Bronco Badlands with a Sasquatch package. I'm impressed with what it can do.
Great video. However the first half of the trail is the Ledges. The second half is actually a whole different trail called the Turtles. Both the Ledges trails and the Turtles was trail blazed by the infamous James Payne aka Gabe who BTW is THE Sand Hollow sxs guru
