The hmt website doesn't do justice to the watch dials, the in-hand feel is a totally different experience. I own only 1 Hmt, the not so Tiffany blue Tareeq and trust me that dial stands out. The pictures on the hmt website just make it look bland 🫶
Should i buy vostok or casio duro from Amazon us on my 18th birthday. Which will last more as it will serve as memory reminder. I like automatic movement. My budget is 10k.
@@nitesh6472 if your budget is 10k I would suggest go for Boddery Voyager instead, which has Seiko NH35A automatic movement, 40mm case diameter, sapphire Crystal, titanium case, 100m WR You will save 3k as well from your budget And Casio Duro is a quartz watch not automatic
@@Kolkatawatchguru I am new to the watch community and never knew about boddery voyager . I really like your suggestion. But it's price is 9k on Amazon india how will I save 3k . Even for 9k it's a good watch. Also one more question will this watch last more than a decade? Appreciate your efforts for providing knowledge to newbies like me.
I had timex digital watch with bright green indiglo wore it for 14 years still works like champ after battery change. This one looks great and so simple to operate and that orange backlight looks cool plus battery life is marathon 10 years
@@chourasiaamarjeet Normally HMT 0231 movement gives around 36 hrs of power reserve, and regarding dial repainting - if you remove the original paint from HMT and repaint the dial locally then the watch completely looses its vintage value. Not worth it
@@Kolkatawatchguru painting the dial is subjective. It is your opinion that it loses it value. May be few of us want that HMT reliability with newly painted look.
Setting up this watch is way more easy than setting up a gshock...also the strap has got a tactical vibe to it so putting a nato strap on it might not be a good fit although it's a cousin of the infamous gshock.
@@arindambanik92 the problem with this watch is, although the lug width is 18mm but the case at the bottom of the watch where spring bar is installed is 24mm Thats why a 18mm nato will look very slim near a 24mm case where spring bars are installed
@@TripathiVayu it was limited Edition watch, first 2000 units sold out in a day DWC is planning on selling 2000 units more soon, no dates announced yet

@@NP-hp7jc yes it's still available on HMT website, i think its worth it Also do check Titan open heart models at 13-14k range, they have Seiko NH38A movement inside.

Calibration of second Needle { QUARTZ VERSION} 2.low Water Resistant 3.Dail size of 31.3 to 35 mm is very small 4 Over Priced especially Mechanical One I bought HMT Kohinoor Blue quartz ..everying was ok..But Dil pe rakh ke Sister ko dena pd gya tha 😅🥲Bcoz of Dial Size.

@@Venompky007 you can create an account on Komandirskie website then add the watch you want and in the final page it will show you the price And regarding vostok or Casio Duro I would say Casio Duro is much easier watch to maintain and easy to service if required ever for quartz movement Even though Vostok Amphibia / Komandirskie has service life of 10 yrs but you wont get any parts in India and finding a watchmaker who is willing to service is very very hard to find. But yes Vostok is a much more fun watch
