actually, Amaury didn't show anything... he showed a technique which he himself thinks, theoretically would work... but he doesn't actually do the pass, he just lifts the leg aside and spins around and steps over, he doesn't actually demonstrate the pass to full completion... so he spins around and stands in the mounted position above his opponent, giving his opponent all sorts of opportunities to rework the guard and attack with single-X? how is that supposed to be a good defense against the berimbolo? you stop the berimbolo by allowing your opponent to attack with single-X? he needs to demonstrate the pass to completion instead of just spin around and STAND in the mount... this leads me to believe that he hasn't really thought it through...
Of course, you would drop hip to hip to the mount after passing the leg or knee on belly as he said... it's not the point though. The point is to prevent the opponet from rolling bermbolo and removing de la riva.
Ok...vi alguns vídeos desta série. Excelente aula de Jiu Jitsu verdadeiro...direto da fonte. Sou faixa preta e sedento por este tipo de qualidade. Muito obrigado professor Amaury Bitetti. Lembro do tempo em que era necessário pegar fita K7 para ver as aulas em competições das grandes feras...eu ainda era faixa branca em 1999 e ficava deslumbrado com coisas que nem tinha condições de entender. Agora preta desde 2011 posso compreender a ciência por trás da simplicidade...coisa que só os grandes como o pofessor Amaury podem nos trazer com tamanha propriedade.
