@@ripmax333 Yeah the thing I miss most about this bike is the incredible fuel efficiency tbf. I’m a big guy. About 110KG, 192cm. And this bike still used to manage crazy good economy. Keep in mind as well that half an indicated tank is quite a bit less than an actual half a tank as the indicator will sit at 100% for about 50 miles.
@@mehmetozer6798 Evet.
I thought that this motorcycle was not suitable for long distances because it was air-cooled. How many hours can you travel continuously with this motorcycle for a healthy ride?
@@seyhmuscakan4612 the tiger is liquid cooled. It’ll go as far as your butt can stand on the saddle! :) Tbf air cooled bikes aren’t really limited on range. They only tend to overheat if you stay still for too long.
@@nathaniel2026 really not bad at all! The mrs is a tad too tall for the pillion seat so wasn’t the most comfortable thing in the world for her. But with a stop half way it’s a fairly easy ride. I wouldn’t be too put off by doing it on a naked. Just pop some ear plugs in for the wind noise get to it! I’m sure you’d have a blast. What’re you ridin’? :) I have done a similar length ride on my old naked 125 before!
I believe you may be confusing air speed with ground speed. The Concorde’s max cruise speed is Mach 2.04. Which at 55,000 ft is roughly 600knots. 600 knots indicated air speed at 55,000 ft is, depending on wind direction, about 1180 knots ground speed. Which comes to 1357.92 mph across the ground. :) But in short the plane is flying at its maximum speed in this video.
@taydan04 I just did some research because I assume you to be speed bird. Now 600 knots calculate about 690 mph. That's not fast for the concord. Unless it's a video game speed.
The speed and altitude that she'll get to is highly dependant on air temperature. This video was shot in the summer with live weather enabled so was unable to achieve the full cruise of mach 2.04 until quite far accross the atlantic. :) When in service they were rarely ever flown at 60,000ft due to concerns around repeated exposure to solar radiation on passengers and crew. 50,000 - 55,000ft was a much more common cruise altitude.
@@taydan04 Well I will following to you accomplish that. I wanna see that. I always wanted to be on the Concord. Now I have my money together like damn they really had to discontinue the service.
@@E92jamesy mostly because filtering on a 125 is utterly pointless. As soon as traffic starts moving everyone you have passed now needs to overtake your slow ass again. 😂
@@AndreaSali-gp1up yeah from my understanding when the CBF125 changed to the CB125F they redesigned the engine to have more low end torque at the expense of top end power. I suppose it’s to further increase fuel efficiency and how easy it is to ride. Was very difficult to stall.
@@taydan04 thank you so much! Nice videos! Im going to get my cb125f this year and, just like you, i want to record my trips haha, congrets on the triumph!
Hi fella, I hope your Scotland tour went well? The bike4life ride didn't happen, it was postponed until the 1st September lol. If you can get a ticket and you're available, maybe come along, I've rebooked my ticket. Thanks for sharing and see you on your next adventure ✌️ 🤙 🤟
Yeah nice and easy. Clean and lube it every 500 miles or so (always good to spray on some extra lube after a wet ride to prevent rust) and check tension after cleaning.
Picking one of these up very soon and will be doing short runs on Motorways so great to see it can cope. Just have to accept your going to be overtaken often, Thanks for the great video. Cheers
Hi fella. If you've got time, a day off or even bored and have a ticket or wanna go, I'm off to the bike4life ride on the 28th in Shrewsbury, I'm actually meeting up with another RU-vidr (slorida) if you wanna come along and meet fellow enthusiasts, you're more than welcome. If not, thanks for sharing and see you on your next adventure ✌️ 🤙 🤟
Hey dude! Sorry I did mean to reply to your last comment about the Bike4Life ride! I will be headed up to Scotland to do the NC500 with some friends. But hope you have yourself a great ride out! Rubber side down dude! :)
There were many options to filter in the first 30 mins, idk why you didn't take them. Maybe you could inform me what made you not want to make those decisions?
Shift down gain rpm then shift back to fifth gear it can easily get 60-67 sometimes depending on road conditions if you going a little bit downhill and try to stay down you can get 70 very easy tbh it a amazing bike and very economics a full tank can bring you around 300 miles
Very nice video and great riding with excellent awareness and positioning. Goes to show that people (actually the biking media) are totally wrong when they say low powered 125cc bikes are "only" for the city. I didn't see a single point where you held up anyone else - quite the opposite. 125cc bikes and scooters are perfectly adequate for A roads and it's about time the biking media stopped all that bullshit about needing 50 hp or more to be a "proper" bike.
Hey! Oh man, you’re starting the adventure of a lifetime! Excited for you. It was the “Texpeed Men's High Visibility Waterproof CE Armoured Motorcycle Textile Jacket” available on Amazon for £80. Ride safe! :)
I’d say like pretty much any 125. It was kinda rubbish. It seemed really bright but the beam scattered almost immediately so not allot of road gets lit.
That’s some dedication right there! Haha. Glad you’re enjoying it! :) If you made it to the end the Bristol trip would be my next recommendation. Easily the longest trip I took while I had the 125.
When you're bombing along completely oblivious of cameras and suddenly spot a speed camera too late and you're in 40, you think "oh fffuuuccckkk". Then you realise you're on a tiddler and you're only doing 36mph. Phew if I'd be bollocksed on my old cb500.
When I got my very first m/bike I rode round all day Saturday then again all day Sunday til it was dark and when I got home I realised I'd completely forgotten about the most famous England match since 1966. That was a Honda H100S, 22.6.86. There. I just thought I'd share.
