We believe that you are beautifully correct❤When my Son was in elementary and Secondary School, and High School, I would instruct him to quote his own writings that he produced from his own analytical critique of his research submitted in previous levels of his learning, to prepare him for College❤When I listen to this young man making so much sense❤I reflect on what the Teacher comments on my Son papers. The Teachers were surprised, taken a back that He would hold his writings with such honor at such an early point of his life journey ❤❤❤you keep it up my brother, I am , We are proud of your light❤❤❤❤
I read in the book "There Was A Country" by Chinua Achebe that Nzeogwu was against the secession and Ojukwu knew it that he even asked him not to participate in the war against Nigeria, that he didn't need his help. Nzeogwu as narrated in the book secretly was participating without Ojukwu's knowledge with some few soldiers which included Ojukwu's half brother who also died in the same Bedford as Nzeogwu on the same day.
So Nzeogwu was a nationalist, but killed only the Northern leadership (biting the fingers that fed him), and a few in the South, but NONE form his tribe/section? Please!!!
Its easy for you to just talk, if you followed her case the problem is that there was a crime committed in for Chidima to be a citizen of SA in the first place. Identity theft happened hence everyone asked if Chidima was South African. The same Madiba you talk about taught us to embrace every person whether white , black green, yellow or whatever skin color. As South Africans we are plagued by people who commit crime in our country and mostly are the so called illegal foreigners. We love Chidima, but her parents committed a crime and that was not going to end well. This pageant actually saved her from a lot of shame because of what her parents did. Legal immigrants are welcomed in SA and they live amongst us. But one thing you must understand is that we just came from elections and one thing that our government is doing is clamp down on crime especially identity theft and other crimes related to illegal immigration. We are going through a lot as a country but you wont understand because you are only concentrating on what South Africans are doing. Why aren't you seeing what Nigerians in our country are doing. Its only a small percentage that are earning life positively and making money fairly. Most of our illegal Nigerian brothers and sisters are messing up the country and they live amongst us. How about as an African brother you make videos about illegal immigrants who commit crimes too and tell them to behave when they are visiting other countries because almost every country is complaining about Nigerians. These are the same people who hurt Chidimas progress. I can go on and on, but your judgement needs to be justified from both angles or both sides.
Well you've made your opinion known with alot of energy and confidence. I think it serves us better to examine issues affecting African people's on a deeper level. You also end up apparently contradicting yourself by citing a western scholar. To make new contributions in any field entails building on the work of others. Unfortunately the contribution by African researchers is quite limited at the moment most probably from the want of means and the various pressures which make purely academic pursuits not as attractive to Africans.
I didn't contradict myself. I made that quote to pontificate that other civilization has the right to define concepts for themselves as it appeals to them. There are a lot of African studies one can review. This is my point. Not that you can't cite the works of scholars from the conceptual West but that it shouldn't be ruled out when when an African indigenous scholar is cited. We shouldn't use them as yardstick to what should be accepted.
"Academic pursuits not as attractive to Africans". Exactly. If you're too lazy to get out of poverty and develop your society, don't complain when people who have done their homework and know how to get things done come and take over. That's just how things work. Fix your own issues instead of coming to Europe to live on benefits.
What is Governance. I just hope the Nigerian Police will learn from the colonial master Britain . You can protest but no destruction , Aside, the Police has rigth to redirect and ensure no damage to life or property. Please, the vision less protesters need to be remindered of the constitution rigth not to damage because protest is not equal rioting ok. Nigeria Poiice arise , be bold and exercise the law.
Point of correct: 5th BATTALION was not located in Zaria but Kano. While central Ordnance Depot is still located in Yaba Lagos while the one in KADUNA is a branch under Central Ordnance Depot in Lagos.
That is the reason why I don't like reading Nigerian history, especially the ones narrated by Nigerians. Everybody will say what they want us to believe, not necessary what actually happened. Five Majors, why they stroke, Five Majors why we stroke and lot of others. All full of contradictions
Who is this presenter? Who told us that Anioma is or was part of South Eastern Nigeria? Anioma state is made of d. Ikas, the Ndokwas and The Enuani..Their origins mainly from Bini,Igala and very few from Igbo land. Why are u trying to expand west ward across the Niger by force? Because of Anioma Natural resources and land? Mr man,d Aniomas are not Igbos ,they don't hate us either. Sort out yr problems within yr Igbo region and d old southeastern region. Yr real 100% Igbo brothers are Ikweres, Okrikas ,Opobos, few in Cross river state and in Kogi state. 80% of yr territory is in Rivers state. The Aniomas ve been clamoring for their own state for a long time, it has nothing to do with d Igbos of d southeast. Yr. Culture and ways of live differs a lot. Pls,steer clear from Anioma state creation issue. D Ikas,Ndokwas and Enuani are not Igbos and they are not interested in seding their territory to Igbo land grabers.
I held myself not to use expletives . You automatically assumed I am Ignoring. Go read the historical migration of Anioma people. If Aniomas are not Igbos then whom are they? Let's talk with facts and studies.
I hate it when history is distorted deliberately. -The Asaba màssssacre as they call it has nothing to do with Murtala. It was Ibrahim Taiwo's battalion which was under Murtala's division that did the alleged masssssacre. The soldiers under Taiwo went berserk but until Murtala's intervention that it stopped -You should also talk about how Murtala saved Nzeogwu's mother from same soldiers of the same Taiwo's battalion
