I'm EV cars geek and love to tune them for range, power and durability. Tesla Model S, Model X and obviously Model 3 are one of my main goals. I have prepared also solutions for Nissan Leaf (old and new), Outlander PHEV and Toyota Hybrid cars. Reverse engineering is fun and adrenaline!
Are you in the UK? Can you do my car please. It is a 2015 PHEV. Full charge at the moment if 23 miles on the old battery. Battery health is perfect for car's age.
Tomku... Twoj temat filmu wprowadza ludzi w błąd. Ty mówisz o nawigacji. Browser to przeglądarka. Ja szukam informacji na temat przeglądarki..Mam mcu2 w 2015r ponieważ wymieniłem. Ale chciał bym zainstalować google chrome jakimś sposobem :(
I think this would be possible using LiFePO4 prismatics of the same size/capacity. The charging requirements are compatible and LiFePO4 will last a LOT longer and deal better with heat/cool and regen.
Can you give us more info about your project? cells, size, CanBus?.... We have a Car's Workshop and some costumers want to upgrade their batteries... ;)
205km I can do in my 40kw Leaf if only drive 60-70km/h and turn everything off. Normal use I would say that I drive 150km on a full battery when it is around 15 degrees celsius. Car was advertised to do 378km in the start which they later changed to 278km. In the winter in -5 degrees celsius if I drive the speedlimit on the motorway which is 130 km/h I can empty the battery in less than an hour, more like 40 minutes. Car manufacturers should not be allowed to make these false claims. Going from 378 to around 100km on a full battery is just insanely inaccurate. Even the newer cars with 62-90kw can´t really do more than 350km under normal mixed conditions driving like a regular person. We really need 150-300kw batteries. Less than 100kw is a joke.
Nissan officially claims a 40 kWh Leaf can do 270 kms per charge. This week I managed to do 220.4 kms on one charge under quite heavy winter conditions (with 3% battery + some extra buffer remaining). In summer I managed to cover some 330 kms driving at around 70 km/h, but I aim to hit the 350 kms mark this spring/summer - I am sure it is not impossible to do even more 🙂
The wonderful experience there @Accelev Server. I'm very happy to report that you've just confirmed what we have been doing with our Leaf and what we have been discussing in the Nissan Leaf Owners WhatsApp Group. Yours surpasses what we have done. Keep it up!

I bought one a month ago, I can't understand why most of the time it says electric not avaliable, mine goes off going up minor hills, battery shows full, then shows empty, I can never get 2 miles of range of pure electric, am I doing something wrong??? or is it faulty??
question: how far did u drive after the last bar disappeared? ive only ever gone a a couple of hundred meters after that but if i see correctly the number when it was gone was in the 250s so at least 10km?
Would you let us know how did you manage for the BMS to manage such custom cells? Did you added the same amount of cells, or did you had to rearrange them? Thanks in advance!
