Very slight differences sonicly. Huge price differences......d 41 5000 $ cheaper than d45..... So my choice d41... althought with much less money you can get a simialar or even better guitar.... Martins are VERY overpriced.....
Had the opportunity to play a FG9R at Guitar Center and was very impressed. I actually liked it better than the D28 I also played there. Well, it should sound better, it was 900 dollars more expensive than the Martin!
The Yamaha LL36 is a bench guitar, hand built by skilled Luthiers! If I'm not mistaken (yeah I'm not!) the Martin d41 is a factory guitar. There's care taken... But it is assembly line rinse and repeat process....
Appreciate the quality of the presentation. Each facet of playing is well presented and styles. Short clips to the point. Well done, and makes me appreciate the LL series from Yamaha from the 6 to 56.
For those who say the LL26 sounds better than the LL16, please know and acknowledge that the guitar is more expensive about 3-4 times. Also, it is a Japan-made quality guitar while the LL16 a China-made.
hello guys!! do you have the names of the two first songs ?? i really like the chords, it's beautiful !! please share them to me if you can ! I would appreciate !!!
The wood on the LL56 is probably older. The sound seems to have broken in or opened up. Hence, sweeter and more mellow. If this FG9 has been played a lot more or gets older, it might produce just as good. Even as of now, it's a great-sounding guitar.
Nice play! I may prefer the small body since it's a bit more comfortable to handle, and looks nicer to me. I know the bigger ones have a better bass sound. But if I want to play it louder, I can plug it and do it. Nice review! from Brazil. Thank you.
