I've been watching reactions of the trilogy over the past few days and I have to mostly agree with your assessment of Peeta. Hutcherson brought the gentleness and had decent to good chemistry with Jennifer Lawrence, but watching it all over again, it hit me something always bugged me about his version of Peeta. The books described him as sort of bulky and muscular, IIRC. Can't remember the height though, but it would probably have to be tall to look as imposing as the books imply. Anyway, Hutcherson just 'aint it, as likeable as he seems to be onscreen and off. Would love to see someone else nail the role, just crush it! Plus I'm a Gale stan, so there's that. I'm down for your pick for Katniss. Can't remember what else I saw her in, but she looks more book accurate at least.
I would have want frank langella as saruman.but charles dance in for me an good number two choice. Tony Jay as the mouth of sauron, smaug. ( i love his deep voice in villain roles).
I feel obligated to tell you that Hermione only said spare mint toothpaste because she was actually smelling Ron’s hair, but did not want to admit it to the class for obvious reasons. The toothpaste connection you made is not canon and merely coincedental
I probably would love the Monsters, Inc. 2: Lost in Scaradise better Monster University. What I would have liked and suited for Monsters, Inc. 2: Lost in Scaradise, is if the plot would be similar to Christopher Robin 2018 movie and Jungle Book 2, the main characters try to find and reunite with Boo again in the human world, want to focus more on the human world than the monster world, Boo would have be 12 years old who has almost forgotten Sulley and Mike and has trouble growing up and has to put her childhood behind her, doesn't get along with Sulley and Mike at first until before she starts to remember and develop bonds with them again and learn what is really good about the childhood especially when she looks at her old drawing of Sulley and her, Sulley and Mike learn to accept that Boo needs to grow up and Boo learns that it is okay and what is good about the childhood, it will be halloween in the human world when Sulley and Mike are in the human world, the monsters want to be in human disguise or pretend to be stuffed animals, mascots or humans in halloween costumes, Randall will return for revenge or there will be a new villain who is a human cryptological monster hunter with theories about cryptological creatures, monsters that come out of the closet and about missing children that has a connection to each other, and who has a bad childhood backstory about monsters as the human cryptological monster hunter seem like a dark counterpart to Boo, and Boo must save and protect Sulley and Mike from the human cryptological monster hunter and keep them and the monster world's existence a secret from the human world.
I think DelToro would have ruined the Hobbit for me. I've watched several of his movies, and his visual style and creature design always lands in a darker and disturbing way.
Although there is a lot to complain about Incredibles 2, there were some things I actually liked. 1) The Feminist thing: I like the debate that Screenslaver and Helen have over motherhood. Screenslaver thinks she can have it all, doesn't care to have a family, she goes all business, and sticks to that angle, hoping to "convert" Helen. Helen on the other hand, states that it's a part of her life that's over. She's put the "Hear me roar!", Girl Power! days behind her, and has fallen in love with being a mother and wife, and let her know that she doesn't understand what it's like to be a family woman, until she actually experiences it, and she also explains that a woman CAN'T have it all, and that she wouldn't trade anything in the world for her husband and kids. 2) The superhero debate: As much as I liked the twist that the businessman seemed a bit more autistic, and wasn't attracted to Helen, which was something that he came across in the trailer, he argued with his sister that if the heroes were around, the burglars wouldn't have killed his parents, and his father would have been able to get help from superheroes. Screenslaver on the other hand, said that if he didn't go for the phone for superheroes that their parents would have survived. It's a complicated chicken or egg debate. I do think that Helen learns something about herself, and that as much as she didn't mind teaching and mentoring other kids, she did it for opportunities for her husband and kids. She knows how important it is for her husband and son to want to explore their abilities, and try to become heroes, and she wants to give to them. I do get annoyed with the Mister Mom thing, but I did enjoy some things, for example, how Bob spent all night figuring out the Maths book that Dash didn't understand, even when the older way of handling the topic was far simpler, and easier to comprehend. (I work with kids, and often I'm with Bob. I know when given all the possible options to help them understand, it's the older and classical ways that most kids gravitate to.)
4:49 Damn, I love the idea that Helen's elasticity can be used as a boost for Bob. And by the way, the way she wrapped herself around Bob is very cute:3
I have a request for a video, feel free to make if you find the idea great. If they ever make a live action movie or series from the Cyberpunk 2077 game & netflix edgerunners anime, please make a casting choice about characters such as V, Jackie, Judy, Panam, etc
theres another you missed out, in Philosophers Stone theres a scene featuring PEEVES the Poltergeist played by late British actor Rick Mayall a friend of mine has seen that exact scene featuring PEEVES but only by accident if Warner Bros is still going through with that Harry Potter rebooted TV series for HBO MAX, Im sure we will see everything from the books
I think MAW S3 can be the perfect time of Randall’s redemption, after all the pain he went, from influenced by Johnny, to being in the Hu,an World, he can return to be the old, nice, shy person again.
This movie's greatest strengths with the character work and drama was awesome but it could have used a little bit more action to balance out the slow pacing, especially since this one was mostly focused on the apes
When I heard about this movie and how they were going to make the characters younger, I was very interested. But as I watched the movie they’re supposed younger self’s was not believable at all. It’s just looked like they made their hair black. Robert De Niro did not look younger at all. It looked like he had his hair dyed compared to the Gemini man, the Irishman failed miserably. And the al Pacino character was horrible. I am not a big fan of Al Pacino! All he does is yell! That is his “stick”! He just Raise his voice, and he somehow think he is brilliant! The only movie I have ever liked of al Pacino is the godfather. After that, no thank you!
David Tennant would be a good choice. His role as the tenth doctor shows he has the charisma to convince people to do insane things as well as the sense of humor to distract his opponents. He shown as Barty Jr he can play a crazy murder who believes in a twisted ideology. Also his role as the purple man shows one he looks good in a purple suit and two he can be a cold/calculated menace who wants to get into the hero’s mind.
The next one I'd like to see you do is a Pirates of the Caribbean prequel TV Series for Disney Plus based on the books as for a young Captain Jack Sparrow and he should be portrayed by Johnny Depp's son Jack and this is his chance to follow his footsteps to play the iconic character that his father did.
