IN 1975 i made a recording with my band in the recording studio, i had a fender champ, and i place a microphone on front, 5 inches away, the sound was a fender amp sound clean, perfect, later in 1978 ,recording studios had a policy ,"not microphones in front the amp" because the "hum" sound of the amp, made difficult for recording enginners to mixdown, i had to plug all the way to the mixing board , never was the same...later on, the pedal boards came with noise gate ..but is not the same
It really makes your music heroes seem more relatable and human when you can hear that even when Minoru plays, the plastic keys clack. Issei still gets guitar hum and weird finger movement noises on the fretboard and plays things wrong every now and then. On the albums and live shows it's all so perfect.
The fusion maestro giving a masterclass in badassary. Watching how much Toshiki senpai is loving every minute he's onstage surrounded by his band of virtuoso's is pure joy.
Is it just my imagination, or when he says "as soon as I quit playing the high E string......actually I never did play it" a woman laughs in the background???
