I totally agree. It’s SO important to let people go - especially toxic people. This is one of the HUGE advantages of not having kids. When you’ve got small children you’re trapped. You have so little room to move. And your social life tends to revolve around neighbours and the parents of your kid’s friends (even if you dislike them). I have a friend with two small kids and she said that one of the awful things is that you have to bite your tongue all the time and endure people you can’t stand. There is just no time or space for drama.

I'm 57, and I'm GLAD that I chose not to have children, and I had my reproductive system completely removed in my early thirties to make sure that I would NEVER have children, and I'm not sorry or guilty about my PERSONAL choice!!! And I hate children and I always hated children since the age of 15, and I'm not sorry about that either!!! I've been told that I'm selfish for choosing NOT to have children, and I'll end up lonely and miserable because I chose to be childfree, and that I'm obligated to have children because it's my duty as a woman!!! I'm sick and fucking tired of being demonized and disrespected because I chose not to have children or live my life serving and catering to a man simply because I was born a female!!! The reason people (especially women) are so nasty to the childfree is that, deep down, they fear they’ve made a mistake. Most women love their kids but HATE being mothers. I have two different friends who have both said to me (after a few drinks) that having kids ruined their life. They love them, and would die for them, but their kids have ruined their body, their health, their marriage, their career, their dreams, their social life, and their finances.
Birth rates will continue going down. It’s not faith, or the lack of it. It’s not money, or the lack of it. It’s time, or the lack of it. What is time made of? It's made up of 4 elements when there's room for only 3 of them, unless you want to be heading towards fundamental dissatisfaction due to a lack of time - a dissatisfaction that can lead to burn-out and the destruction of a personality. The 4 elements are: 1) Sleep. 2) Work. 3) Family (children). 4) ‘Leisure’ (screens, reading, love, friendships, solitude, playing a musical instrument, personal development, etc.) Can you do without sleep? Obviously not. Cutting back on sleep is bad for your health. Very. Can you do without work? Yes, if you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth. In other words: no, you can't. That leaves only two adjustment variables. If you are reasonable, you do what the watchdogs of reasonable living keep telling you: when you reach ‘adulthood’, you behave like an adult and drastically reduce the amount of time you devote to ‘leisure’, particularly screen time. But here's the snag: living an adult life, a reasonable life, is the best way to miss out on life. This has become impossible to hide.
If you are not intrinsically motivated to have children, then the most adult decision you can make for the long term, is to not have them. Critics be damned. I have never wished for children, and i will not be coerced into parenthood. My hope is that more young woman will be able to freely reflect over this choice in the future, because i subscribe to the notion that freedom is the ultimate and final good in this life.

I thought get back in tiktok would be fun scrolling on my phone for hours talking to new people but I realize I truly don't know any of them alot are drama gossip queens and men and have others turn against each other so high school.. I always feel like a narcissist or egomaniac when I think about why I want my big dreams/fantasies. Like I want to be more special than others, and maybe I am bad for thinking/wanting that.
Why is it okay for other people to have big dreams, but not you? Are authors who dream of being on the best-seller list narcissistic? Are musicians who dream of having a hit single all egomaniacs? You deserve your dreams just as much as anybody else does. You wouldn't have dreams in your heart if you weren't deserving of them and capable of fulfilling them.
I tell people I'm not that cruel(😂 the faces they make when I say that, shuts them right up), and I'm selfish. I didnt stop hearing you'll change your mind until after 36 and its only men saying it, the women stopped after i was in my 30's.

So with the pilot example, this could be: - I got accepted into pilot school - I passed the medical and fitness exams - I'm excelling in flight training - I'm passing all required knowledge exams Visualize and affirm each step in the chain WITH FEELING/EMOTION behind it. This process makes it easier for our logical human minds to see the progress. Our brains get a rush from small wins, and if we can see our smaller manifestations coming true, we'll be able to get to the bigger ones with more ease and optimism.

I tell people that my parents abused me in ways that would make me cry if I saw someone doing the same to a small child, I raised myself and my siblings, so I'm tired and I've done my part with child raising. Same. I've also been told that I'm "not normal" for not wanting to have kids. I feel strongly that I am not meant to be a mother and I don't think it makes me a freak. I find it insulting that anyone would think that my personal choice, which affects them in no way at all, is so difficult for them to accept, just because it is not what they understand. I feel sorry for them being so brainwashed by society and I know it's their issue,not mine, but I still hate it when they say that.
Yesssss! I got fixed at 38. I recommend it. It shuts ppl up fast. There's nothng they can say against gettng it permanently. Also, its way less stressful. You are taking your life back! It doesn't hurt, its so simple and insurance covers it. It doesn't mess with your hormones and you can chuck the birth control. They just insert a tiny wire in your bellybutton. It never hurts and you have no idea you just got surgery done, ha. There's no recovery. I really urge women like me to advocate for being allowed to make our own decisions about our body and fertility. I've never known someone who didn't want children to ever change their mind. When you are 30 to 45, just get it done. Don't ask for permission. I adore kids... but only kids I dont got to raise LOL. If it cries, send it hone, lmfao.
Being a mother is probably the only thing that could make me happy and I still choose to be child-free. If we were living in paradise; I’d have 2 children, a boy and a girl 🥰

I also believe that most modern women are not capable of raising children. 1. not financially stable 2. cannot find a suitable husband 3. psychologically and emotionally not suitable 4. not patient just a few of these attributes to indicate that women are not suitable to raise children.
