Hotel California is not the hotel that the Eagles song is about, actually the Eagles sued The Hotel for claiming that it was about the song. I lived in Todos Santos for eight years…
It is definitely not for everyone ❤️ it's really choosing the ability to offload over the comfort of a bigger place. Also the Tacoma doesn't have a lot of capacity, so we kind of have to go small. Thank you for your comment.
I 100% love the ability to give internet to those that wouldnt otherwise be able to get it. But for gods sakes, if you're going camping for a few days, just live in the moment and stop trying to have in-tent wifi 😂😂😂
Some people work remote. And it's nice to not have to leave a beautiful spot due to the internet. That is the main reason we purchased this, we can stay out in remote places for much longer. But going offline from time to time is definitely a blessing ❤️
Haha. Jup! Good looking fish... tasting, not so much. And lots of bones. Anyway, he was probably happy that the stupid foreigners bought it 😂 probably made his day lol
Actually, we had the starlink ordered to Mexico so it's technically a Mexican plan. However, since then the prices have gone up and may be comparable to the rest of North America.
@@justtravlin yeah I got that part. But I was curious if I contacted someone to pick it up somewhere like that, would I get the reduced pricing? I’m going to be paying for the roam unlimited. I travel all of the lower 48 full time.
I've been using the roam for the last three weeks as I travel in my RV around the Carolinas and it's been horrible. Constant buffering and freezing. If you have the least bit of obstruction or it's terrible. My iPhone hotspot was faster than the Starlink connection most of the time.
Please stay off our beaches the gringos have just about destroyed them with their RVS and trucks were trying to save them for future generations don't be selfish
Baja is not close to 2000 km long. Sensationalizing how vast, empty and gorgeous somewhere and broadcasting it on RU-vid will only promote to change that. Get a clue please!
Over two months we zig-zagged through the peninsula and drove approximately 2000 kilometers. Also, we are hardly the first people to drive to baja so we will keep doing what we please ☺️ Thanks for checking out our video!
The good thing is, you don't have to. Thank you for pointing out the mistake. We are well aware we said that wrong. We still appreciate you taking the time to write a message and give our video a bump up. Have a lovely day and keep traveling ❤️
Please stay off our beaches. The gringos have just about destroyed them with their RVS. It's very sad we would like to keep them for future generations.
@@justtravlinthe weather is beautiful, high 80’s mid 90’s , Fahrenheit. Zero wind wherever you go, the water is warm Everywhere! clear and sunny skies! I have done Baja many many times for several years, all months of the year and for sure , try May or October . Great videos!!! Keep it up and I’ll keep watching for sure!
Congratulations for traveling off the beaten track! Belgium is such a great country and so badly underrated! Keep finding out about scores of similar hidden gems. You have Mechlin, Mons, Dinant, Lier, you name it, plus dozens of chateaux: Ooidonk, Freÿr, Modave, Beersel, Gaasbeek, Vêves, Walzin… So much to see and do!
Helpful video. Debating getting one for road trips, but if it draws that much battery and the price, in typical Elon fashion, varies; it sounds like a hard pass for me for right now. We have ethernet at home for just under $70 a month; so $150 a month to have the luxury of internet for random roadtrips sounds awfully painful. And that's assuming they keep the "pause" feature on the service and don't switch over to a subscription requiring you to pay a monthly fee regardless of use. I thought the entire purpose of Starlink was to provide internet to people globally at an affordable price? $150 is rather astronomical.
I can confirm that the pause button still works as i use it constantly. It certainly is expensive but it is also due to each market its in and who it is competing against. There are many 12v conversions at the moment, and even factory 12v either now or in the future, not sure.
EVEN IF YOU HUMAN SLAVES FILL THIS ENTIRE PRISON WORLD WITH FICTION ( MONEY ) OR ( DIAMOND GOLD SILVER ) THAT STILL CAN'T MAKE BIRDS REPRODUCE WHY DO YOU HUMAN SLAVES BELIEVE THAT YOU NEED TO EARN & PAY FICTION ( MONEY ) TO BE ALIVE ? WHY DO YOU HUMAN SLAVES BELIEVE THAT ARCHONS RULING YOU CAN CREATE FICTION ( MONEY ) ? WHY DO YOU HUMAN SLAVES BELIEVE THAT FICTION ( MONEY ) IS REAL AND HAS VALUE ? WHY DO YOU HUMAN SLAVES BELIEVE THAT ( DIAMOND GOLD SILVER ) HAVE MORE VALUE THAN AIR & BIRDS ? ARCHONS RULING YOU HUMAN SLAVES CREATED FICTION ( MONEY ) TO MAKE YOU DO THE EVILS WHICH OTHERWISE YOU WOULD NEVER DO *
@@justtravlin that’s great. I almost learned the hard way through the back mountains of BC I could smell burning then I called my wife’s dad who’s a truck driver and he said oh man you need to use your gears treat it like a big truck. Safe travels
If you want thousands of subscribers that may reach millions then come and vist our beautiful country of the Philippines. RU-vidrs gains so much support with the Filipinos.
No Panama or south America? Those signs must be new around Santa Teresa. I've seen people camping by the beaches near Manzanillo and south near La Pais... Hopefully you crossed over to Cabuya and on to Montezuma. There are some great waterfront camping spots there and the famous Montezuma waterfalls.
It took us a year and a half to get down to Costa Rica, we are going to take a break for a bit and get back to the PanAmerican highway. We would like to spend two years in south America!
Great channel, guys! I, too, like the funnel idea, perhaps over the sink to minimise spillage. I would cut the hole in the wall and fit it off with a lockable filler personally. I prefer the 1" extruded pvc foam panels on top of the floorboards in winter if you cant get them underneath. Altough carpet with foam underlay works well on the inside. Have fun, Pete, AU.
