I just build the step 2 one! It is super! Next one will be this one:) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fpF_Usux0WY.htmlsi=osDbhAkyv7z1hXA2
am I right in thinking: if you have a coil on spark vehicle (different to shown in video, each individual spark plug has its own coil pack) could you not just tap into the pos / neg and run those through the relay? im struggling more than i should be with this 🤣 also would a 4 pin relay work?
I tryed this but every time i press the switch it blows a fuse, ive checked that ive got everything on the correct terminals, the relay is also brand new and theres no damaged wire, what can this mean?
Bru it's bobbing me, I have built this and can't seem to figure it out, if u watch video you see there is a brown wire soldered to a diode right by the irfz44n which God knows goes where nor on the schematic 😅
@@EazYzZ1993 I'd Hazard a guess that its there to stop relay contact arcing from the pulses. Does yours work? I hear pin8 on the 4046 should be grounded too?
For In and S_GND you use a dual core wire, cut on wire short and the 2nd one you keep long and wrap around the High Voltage ignition coil wire, the wire you wrap goes on IN and S_GND is the 2nd wire that you cut short
Can't the flywheel be tightened down with honing extra smooth of upper crankshaft and lock washer added, and used at different timing spot, by not using flywheel key? I heard others are doing this. Cars have adjustable distributor for changing timing. Large nut on flywheel tightened very hard. Briggs is pre-set at TDC.
can someone please tell what is the purpose of the vss and vdd connections and what can you do with them want to make this rev limiter myself and cant understand it
What should in do with IC1P on the scematics? It looks like i should wire positive and negative together but it doesnt seem right.. can anyone help me?
Im wondering the same. Was thinking its a filter, 1Ps seem to be only surface mount anyways, video doesn't show the extra transistor, maybe just the cap to ground. also apparently pin8 on the 4046 should be grounded?
Lock washers aren't used with the flywheel nut. The engine spines in a direction that's always tightening the nuts. It's the same reason lock washers aren't used with the lug nuts on your car. washers
