Not sure why so many of the characters cut Paul so much slack regarding his attitude. Since friendship is such a huge deal in this world, you’d think people would be calling him out more often for how he treats his Pokémon. Another excellent no loss battle. Bit of a shame they don’t include any special dialogue whenever a player manages to win a major battle with no fainted Pokémon.

This was an awesome battle. The ending was especially satisfying; Ash Ketchum never managed to beat J in a fight so seeing it actually happen here was catharsis.
