@@zachcrowl8504, we don't make a 100Ah lithium battery. Our batteries are either 120Ah or 150Ah. If you're searching for the cheapest battery on the market, it's not us. If you believe a quality 100Ah AGM battery from any brand delivers the same amount of energy as a quality 100Ah lithium battery, it doesn't even come close. Our lithium batteries offer features not found in many other batteries, including an IP67 rating against water intrusion, which we think every lithium marine battery should have, but very few do. We also offer Bluetooth and NMEA connectivity and a robust battery management system that prevents over-discharge/under-discharge scenarios and helps keep cells balanced to maximize lifespan.

@@optimabatteries I’m referring to an odyssey odxagm31 which if I’m not mistaken are made in America or possibly their one factory in France. Unlike your Mexican made batteries. Which everyone knows when you moved production down there your quality tanked. Deka and odyssey have far superior quality and that’s not like an industry secret or anything, that’s well known. And it’s not just optima. Look at interstate. Look at the manufacturers and business attached to interstate and optima. You see similarities. You also see warranty periods decreasing. I wonder why.

@@zachcrowl8504 please post a link to the 100Ah Odyssey batteries you are referring to, that only cost $300. You still won't get anywhere near as much energy out of any 100Ah AGM battery as you will from a quality 100Ah lithium battery. The battery business is highly competitive. If our quality was in any way sub-standard, let alone as poor as you suggest, it doesn't say much about any of the other manufacturers or brands, that they wouldn't be able to capture all our market share and run us out of business.

We see a lot of cheap solar chargers, that we wouldn't trust with any battery and a lot of lithium batteries of questionable quality being sold online. As long as the current is properly-regulated, using a solar charger shouldn't be an issue and our ORANGETOP batteries have a fairly robust battery management system that helps prevent over-current and over-temperature scenarios.

Internally, the batteries are identical to their YELLOWTOP/REDTOP counterparts, so that should be fine. However, the 34M is the marine equivalent of our Group 34 REDTOP starting battery and should not be used in a deep-cycle application. All the other BLUETOPs are dual-purpose starting and deep-cycle batteris.

Either the D34M, D27M or D31M (smallest to largest). All of those batteries are designed & warrantied for deep-cycle use. The 34M BLUETOP is only designed & warrantied for use as a starting battery and would not be appropriate. The larger the battery, the more power it can deliver and in a constant application like a sump pump, the more cycle life you can get out of it. If your power goes out for an hour here or there, a D34M is probably fine. We wish we had a long list, but retailers hear from hundreds of brands and manufacturers, all trying to get shelf space for their thousands of products. The loudest voices often end up coming from consumers, who tell the retailers what products they want to buy, that they do not carry.

@@optimabatteries a RU-vid mechanic called @scottykilmer posted a video saying such… now as to his legitimacy I’m unsure… I generally take “shade tree mechanics” and anything on the internet with a grain of salt and a ton of skepticism…. We all know how this game works.. A company makes a product… It seams good… Rival companies get people to say it’s not.. company with said product will always say it is good because…. They want to make money.. And round and round we go.. What guarantee do I and other consumers have that a $250-$300 (average optima price) battery will perform and last as it should? How much of a hassle is the warranty red tape? I’m hoping to hear from actual real people who have used the batteries on average conditions within the last 5 years.
