Nice! Was looking to do something like this. Any reason why you went with the 22” brackets, and not a shorter one? Also, how did you end up mounting the folding brackets on the roof rack? Thanks.
I wanted it to be a little more sturdy. But the brackets itself is flimsy. I also mounted using some L brackets I had. If I was to do it again I’d find something more sturdy but for now it works.
