I m research scholar and I need your help in my research work and My research topic is Fatigue behaviour of stud shear connectors in steel concrete composite beams
i dont fully get it, how did the ball move downward ?. can we fix the ball and make the water level rise instead? how to make the water level movable ?
Just a quick note. You're overall depth doesn't match your girder definition. If you are using a middle surface shell offset for your section definition then your top flange line would be at 680 not 670 if you want an overall depth of 690. You have it modeled with an overall depth of 680. Food for thought
Is there anywhere to find the values of concrete damage plasticity ? For C30/37 Concrete and S420 Steel ? What is the references of values about concrete damage plasticity in this video? Can you help me pls ?
Thank you for the video, it is helpful. I have been trying to build a model for a continuous steel bridge with different thicknesses for top and bottom flanges but I still couldn't conduct the analysis successfully. I created shell parts for the web and many for the flanges (with different thicknesses), but still, it didn't work. Is there any mistake in my way of doing things? Should I use solid instead of shell parts? Is there any tutorial of similar cases or any website or forum that might help?

Good morning sir Sir i am B.tech student Sir i am trying to doing 3-point test on RCC beam in which i model a concrete beam as solid element and create hole between them so that i insert a longitudinal reinforcement as solid element in the beam. i am also using stirrups as wire element and embedded into concrete beam. Sir i am trying to give slip property between steel reinforcement and concrete beam therefore i use surface to surface contact and provide normal and tangential behavior (friction coefficient=0.45). but sir my file is not giving result as well as error. sir if you have time then we can discuss on it.
