Hi we was at this venue as near to the front as permitted John's eye contact was awesome with my Mum and she was the lady who asked what was the first song he wrote ? John replied MANDY which is her name! She is still buzzing one of her idols spoke to her.
Ok, I get you wanna cover sex pistols songs, nothing wrong with that, but looking and acting like them is fucking awful, and Is quite the opposite of anything remotely punk. Maybe I take them too seriously and It Is just supposed to be a joke, but I don't get it. Do your own thing and be yourself while doing It.
Unfortunately this is not a good representation of the Pistols with Sid Vicious- the guy on bass can actually play his instrument well. ps, The whole band is really good.
@@davidGPS95 I don’t watch him. I found him talentless from the very first time he appeared on the pop scene. I’m just extrapolating that he won’t have improved with time. Punk was not my thing at all and all the Sex Pistols had was the shock and anarchy factors to try and make up for lack of talent - in my opinion.
@@user-rr6gr7og9q I like progressive rock but I also love the Sex Pistols , you should listen to their early songs from the 76-77 CD boxset or the bootleg album SPUNK, Steve Jones is actually a very good guitarist considering he taught himself.
The new Archie Rice find John embarrassing to watch and listen to nowadays 48 years ago was on the money and relevant...not now like a old footballer selling his stories to a audience who still thinks he's that Johnny Rotten character he tries desperately to be still.. doesn't cut the mustard now. Karaoke Anarchy sad. Love the Sex Pistols game changers not now. Amazing how they'll perform when people throw the £'s still like him but needs to be him not a 68 year old Johnny Rotten
Saw these at club academy in Manchester a few years ago, they were absolutely brilliant, Johnny playing up to the audience, a great night, took me right back to the brilliance of the 1970’s
