The only thing I don't like about hatze is a bit of personal thing, but pterosaurs do NOT attack with their wings, so whenever they do in 'Realistic' media it pisses me off Edit: the Flail buff is neat
hatz is OP garbage, and before you reply..... remember hatz has better stats than most mid tiers (higher dmg than most, same hp as most, same land speed as most, fastest turn in place....) and this is the game where many other things with lower stats in every category lose the ability to jump over a log or rock when they reach sub adult.....cause ya know, that would be op.
I get what your saying, and yeah they strong af. I can scour the plains to find people easily and can disengage whenever I need to. The wing slap is good to get people away from your face. Let alone being able to get revenge kill because I can fly back so fast. Tough beak is insane to trade stab with apex ect ect. The best counter to Hatz I think is the terrain advantage. You can hide something small or reduce the angles with something big. Or make I so I have to come into a cluttered area. Never ever stay in the open area if you are fighting hatz. Also I'd say show confidence, the second you start to panic without strategy is when you stand no chance. And remember most people will offer assistance if they see you being attacked by hatz, it's a universal thing lmao, everyone shares a hatred to that they cannot catch.
@@Toast_hub its ok i know all the ways you can avoid them (i do it plenty after all lol). normally its not an issue, the only time i really think about hatz being OP is when im getting smashed often on my lambo or sty or some other mid tier too often. i always know i can play hatz instead and gain a TON of safety and not really lose any combat effectiveness. so most play sessions go that when then i quickly get bored on hatz and log. imo a really cool dino, and a terrible addition to the game lol. no hate tho. if theres a hatz player i dont like im sure i dislike him just as much on anything else ;)
Surely it's up to the developers to remove it, not punish the player for finding it, what if I use it by accident? I really don't see how it's an exploit, and if it is then the devs will remove it. Iv seen plenty of other mechanics get abused on various other dinos, and they get nerfed eventually. I used to love being faster than a struthi on my Achillobator, jump ripping kick pounce rinse repeat. Nobody got banned for that, just they removed it 🤔🤔
@RottingHound I thought it was a cool tip with the Hatz, so I shared it. Never even thought it could be an exploit, and still don't. It doesn't break any rules I'm aware of. Do you have a link to where the devs say this? Or more info and or proof?
I dont know iv seen those redheads take 50 percent health from concs pretty easily. I'm glad my things are adult already thats all I'm saying. Official is hard enough to grow babies on nevermind ai critters killing you.
I run stab with regular peck. It's very good for dealing with the smaller things and it's ability to regain stam is nice. Just if you fight another hatz with barrage whom try to face tank you. Stab and peck them then try to dodge them for 15 seconds, rinse and repeat.
I know right. He made his way down all of those rocks and took himself back to home cave. I did try to attack him afterwards but he was a competent rex 😅
Been maining hatz since it dropped last Christmas, but even I didn't know those tips! Nice! Although I do have a question: I've seen the jumping stab be used before, however I haven't used it because someone told me that was an exploit because it's not supposed to do that, and I could get in trouble for using it if reported. Have you ever heard this before? Someone said the devs are aware of that and it isn't supposed to do that. I've always wanted to do that but been kinda scared to. Have you ever heard anyone say that? Thanks
I dont think you can get into trouble for using it. I never have and iv seen others use it too. That sounds more like a salty players threat imo. It's not an exploit as such because it has limited use. It's not asif we can still peck in the air. Maybe community servers might have rules but on official I'm almost 100% sure you won't get in trouble.
Not sure if it was full health, he was at least 3/4 if not full. You can face tank a pycno with achillo if you get the jump first, avoid their charge and hit bite scratch combo. Iv done it a few times. If the pycno hits a good charge tho and good bites they can win easily
This helped me. I’ve been having a hard time on my achillo but I found out from this video, regular bite got buffed. I was using raptor strikes since I made achillo many months ago. Today I’m gonna give it a try with normal. Thanks for making this.
Just a question! What console are you on? For me it makes me use left bumper first before every attack besides my first two, how do you set this up differently?
Hi, sorry for the late reply. I'm on xbox. In the settings you can remap to use X and B to be your main attack buttons also. Just swap they're function to a different button then replace with X or B. Hope this helps
Do not use ripping kick unless you’re fighting a lamb/metri (bleed disables heal calls) or if you’re using it with jump for a speed boost. It does very little damage compared to bite
bro can you share your blueprint for this exact built? but I think I have to change the cabin with dusk and remove the engine with explosive module instead
They buffed regular bite in the last update, faster cooldown, and a little bit more damage. Raptor strikes is still good tho but I prefer reg bite personally. 2 bites then claw rinse and repeat. If you're fighting another achillo with raptor strikes, burst them then stay out of contact until they're perk has gone and burst again..
I play often solo on official and mess with bigger groups, and sometimes im with my friends being the bigger group. It's a shame you feel that way... 😕 I do post clips where I'm out numbered and come out on top, so your opinion seems a bit harsh, lol
