Ya you are right it is totally up to them. But don’t make clothes that’s are ‘eco’ etc and then go to this. It’s hypocritical. If you are famous you have a responsibility and hopefully values that reflect what you believe in.
@@SurfGuides I think that they are safeguarding the coral barrier as Olympics are watched by millions of people.. and if Marks Vaast and so on were watched to the end... thousands of people would have got excited. So since there is a still a sort of colonialism feeling flying around... (there is a nice video that explains Tahiti and is also been uplòoaded last month talking aexactly about tahiti history and surfing) ... so I think also since Macron was trying to keep the Olympics sustainable and so on some order came down the way or sort of lawsuit maybe from the locals or threat and so they kept it low profile. here nobody talked to me from Eurosport explaining it. Despite we pay a price to be able to see.. also the platform over which all these services and channels are did not give enough space for channels but Eurosport got dedicated 12 channels for showing most of the competitions possible... The semi and final got scheduled when they were greenlighted but 10 minutes before they started, they were cut down from the schedule and not shown. no answer from Eurosport (which is discovery held which is Warner brothers .. so USA.. which is next location holding the olympics... unless WWIII starts...)
Regardless of exploits the fact is they don’t know shit about surfing and what it means to care for the ocean. They haven’t grown up there. Also the amount of resource required to make a wave on the desert is mind boggling. As I said, not just KS but all of those pros have SOLD OUT by doing this. I thought more of them over the decades until this ;/

Why would you do this? You’ve made your mark, surfed everywhere and had a dream run. You have enough money mate, so why why would you do business with these guys? I just don’t understand. Is this the lengths one has to go to avoid copy write sht? Appreciate the effort but it ain't that helpful in trying to work out what happened, some scores would have been helpful. The Olympics can go sk a dk for their total lack of coverage and proper highlights.
Yes I completely understand the olympics coverage is a complete joke! I just thought to jump on the hype train and get some views and some people do like these videos so it’s good for the surfing community but copyright is a issue !
@@SurfGuides I have been amazed by seeing takes from Teahupoo'o for years now, but I still do not know what the environment looks like. How can the boat be just by the wave unaffected what does the beach look like? How about an areal drone view from above. What about taking drone shoot from behind the wave towards the beach?
