I was there and proud to say I refused to help after about the sixth go around. I’d like to think I was the beginning of the end. If it wasn’t for me, they’d still be doing it today. You’re welcome, Seattle.
the guy who started it was 2 seats away from me and it was really cool to watching it be me my dad two other people and the guy who started it to almost 75 thousand people doing it
I heard the wave actually started in Seattle at Husky Stadium back in the 80's, I don't know if that's true but it's what I heard. I'll go Google it now to try an find the answer. Seattle is one of four places listed as where it started but the earliest was Denver in 1979, both Oakland an Seattle are listed as 1981. An then Budapest in 2001, clearly it didn't start there cause it had been going on for years by 2001
Nah, I was at Fridays show an I don't remember hearing this. This was from last night. I saw them play this song in roughly the same place in 1987, it was the Kingdome then. Big fuckin mosh pit broke out right in the middle of those Van Halen fans. It was awesome. @@kendall3085
I sadly wasn't able to make night two but hearing the song Orion was definitely worth the hundred bucks I paid! I play guitar and I know how hard those songs are to play so I couldn't even imagine playing it live! Metallica is amazing
Im basically watching al the videos of the concert (after actually going) mainly so i can hear how good they were. I think whoever turned Jason's bass down on the black album should have been in charge of turning down Lars' bass drums this weekend. Too bad they totally drowned out the guitars. I thought i was at a rap concert. Otherwise, would have been an awesome show.
