I just installed one of these and the instructions do not follow with the video. Also, there is no way to install the brackets inside a 16 joist spacing - they are too long and don't slide in far enough to insert; They also can't be installed from above after the housing is inserted into the ceiling. There are screws, but they don't line up at all with the slots in the brackets. Not a good design.
This install is a joke because on the installation sheet is says only use metal/aluminum duct work only. Not flex! No info is provided as to how to install horizontally only the preinstalled vertical option.
Take an 8 inch piece of duct tape and make middle flaps and sticky ends. Make 3. Affix on glas housing close to 3 edges. Grip flaps and try twisting counter clockwise. Reposition ladder if you are short for best angle. Thanks to Josh from another youtube video. Im petite and ask my boys for hand strength with jars so if I can do it you can too!
Nice first they show screwing into a joist and then in the next shot the joist is nowhere near the fan. Also, the joist look like they are 3 feet apart. Good luck installing the brackets on 16 inch joist spacing.
Akicon, I purchased two of your faucets from Amazon, but your water supply line connection is NOT a standard thread for American Water Supply Lines. Please contact me on how I can get connection adapters or I will need to return these products to Amazon for a full refund. The faucets I purchased were both: Model: 97703 Antique Copper Kitchen Faucet. I need to connect the faucet to a 1/2" Water Supply Line. Your intake appears to be a 1/4" connection, but is NOT a Standard American Plumbing Thread. Thank you, Chaz Smith
