There is something so special about this video that enthralls me. The ambiance of the abandoned building. Lyrics about trying to keep up but not jump the gun. Something about the aura of it’s juxtaposition hits me like a wave of nostalgia
This is the video that changed my life. Discovering Julien in 2016, led to discovering Phoebe, and then later Lucy. Today, boygenius is nominated for 7 Grammys. Seeing each of these artists grow over these years has been such an honor and I’m grateful to live at the same time as them.
found in same order too, but let's be real, BoyGenius fans have backwards compatibility too. They hear this and it directs them to the solo stuff. Music is great like that.
Wonderful song, wonderful video. I was blessed last Tuesday when I arrived at the venue just in time to see Katie perform this song perfectly at the end of her set supporting Alvvays in Manchester. A moment to treasure . . .
Only discovered Katie's music a couple of days ago when she supported Bob Mould in Southampton. Whisper it quietly but we preferred her set to the great man's! So many stunning tunes, with this one top of the pile.
