Come on, Sheriff! It's bad enough that you have to arrest poor people just because they can't pay up on their taxes, but do you have to arrest the man of the church? What a lowdown thing to do!

This scene depicts what a complete bastard the Sheriff of Nottingham really is! While we do see him and his henchmen chasing Robin Hood and Little John through Sherwood Forest shortly after the opening credits, those are really just his depicting scenes. Later on, we see him steal from an injured blacksmith with a broken leg, a poor child (and on his birthday no doubt), a blind old beggar (unbeknownst to him that it's really Robin Hood in disguise), and from the House of God (which was the last straw for Friar Tuck). And he does it all with no remorse!

"Quiet, gentlemen! The Reverend Rodent is gonna a-ddress you." I love that one, and how technically Dandy is calling for attention so Timothy can speak unhindered.
