Love it! Day 1 buy! Don’t need to have a “next gen” version of every horror franchise. Side Scrolling, 16bit retro is right up my alley. Guess I’m just a boomer🤷🤷🤷.
What fucking planet are you on where the two games cost 50 dollars combined? That is positively ludicrous. In my country they were 120 bucks for both. Y’all are actually insane if you think 50 bucks is too much. Absolute wild nines.
Okay, when I saw 'double feature' I assumed these games were a package deal. Damn. Ash vs. Evil Dead makes sense to me since he's an action hero, but giving Michael the same treatment really seems slapped on. Looks more like another game with a Halloween skin hacked on. I realize these are probably done by smaller teams who wanted to do something quick and fun, but it still seems like a missed opportunity.

NRS should take notes from Tekken 8's story mode where you're not restricted to playing one specific character for one specific chapter and can play as whatever character the plot demands for that chapter. Mitigating the plot armor gimmick to a fault.
@nickfamous Titan Havik creates a chaotic apocalyspe across the realms where Earthrealm is a barren wasteland, Outworld's empire has fallen, and Orderrealm's paradise is in shambles. Only the Netherrealm and Vaeternus thrive in Havik's world. The apocalyptic world is set 25 years after MK1's story. Liu Kang and Geras then decide to send the kombat kids back in time mid-way into MK1's story. In order to stop Titan Shang Tsung differently and prevent Titan Havik's arrival. A mixture of Terminator and X-Men: Days of Future Past type time travel story. Undoing Sindel's death and redoing the third act like Aftermath did for 11. What do you say?
@wickdaline8668 I dig it all aside from the Kombat Kids. Maybe some post apocalyptic older versions of other characters who survived get sent back in time.
@@nickfamous With Takeda's inclusion from KP1, I figured he'd factor into the time travel side of things. If he wasn't made into Kenshi's cousin first.
I wish they would have at least waited another game to establish this timeline before adding the multiverse crap. I really wanted them to flesh out this current timeline.
Agreed. The multiverse plot makes it next to impossible for our main timeline characters to be developed. It’s crazy to me that we see two different versions of Takeda in the MK1 story and neither are the main timeline version that’s DLC.
Khaos Reign has potential and missed opportunities but I feel in the next instalment there will be answers but if I made a sequel to Khaos I have ideas 1. Cyrax will have a protege in the Shirai Ryu (she doesn't wear her cyber armor after the events of Khaos Reigna and she could give it to him once he is worthy of defeating Bi Han and Sektor) 2. Edenia will have a new high mage - Hydro aka Dorfin and she's the only genderbend but she does have a backstory instead of being genderswapped , her father ( OG Hydro) was killed by an unknown assailant when she was a baby and Rain adopted her as pupil . Before her father died , he asked Rain to take care of her and give her the mantle as she grows up. Unlike Rain , Hydro is more witch like as oppose to being a mage . She will have staff but alsoa broom that she can ram opponents (think of the brutalise) it will make her stand out from Rain 3. Shao and Reiko will be a threat , and use Onaga as a doomsday weapon and have a rebellion against Empress Mileena. Also they would be final boss on tower mode 4. Khameleon is now Queen of the Saurians and become Liu Kang's ally 5. Kung Lao will become humble like his ancestor 6. Tremor quits being part of the Black Dragon because Liu Kang and Geras showed genuine kindness to him that Kano and his gang didn't give him. Also the reason he has stone like skin is because he was born with a condition . It did'nt make him ill but it makes him a pariah among earth realmers. 7. Johnny will meet Sonya Blade just like in MK9 but instead of flirting with her , he would earn her trust 8. Countess Jade returns with an unlikely ally - Skarlet whose family is friends with Empress Sindel
You have some great ideas. I love the Cyrax and Hydro plot lines. Shao and Reiko unleashing Onaga would be a badass villain if done right, that almost seems like a next game villain so they don’t rush him like with Titan Havik. Would love to see a more humble Kung Lao too, and more Tremor in the story.
@@nickfamous I mean they are more interesting than the multiverse bs and Onaga will be Reiko and Shao's weapon and it's time Hydro and Tremor appear in sotry mode and playable (No DLC). Also I made Hydro as a girl because I tried male Hydro but though it was too bland ( Hydro's just Sub Zero but water themed) and making her a witch seems fun and she wears a witch hat . I also made an emotion moment where Rain wants to tell the truth to Hydro but couldn't bring himself to do it cuz Hydro's happy with her current life as a witch
@@nickfamous I want Killer Instinct to make another comeback, and people shouldn’t have Mortal Kombat be a stable, a trademark to being a violent and gory fighting game, KI should be in this same level of violence gameplay wise Anyway, if MK shouldn’t die, then they need to fix their mistakes
@@nickfamous glad we both agree About KI, it’s been almost 11 years since that franchise had its resurgence, and it’s been a long 7 years since they stopped making production and not giving a crap I enjoy KI but I also have my moments of salt I admit
If it will make you feel better , it's implied that the cyber initiative has occured but Bi Han didn't let Sektor and Cyrax get cyberized because he wants them to have free will which shows he does care . But Sektor might become a full cyborg in order to test her limits and might become a threat
This expansion was too inspired by the MCU with the multiverse BS The multiverse is is not what MK should be about the NRS Developers have seen have watched too much Marvel Movies The multiverse is taking over MK and that’s a bad thing the story expansion was Messy because of the multiverse hopefully By time MK2/MK13 comes out they abandon the multiverse they should be aware that nobody likes the multiverse in the MK story Shao should’ve been the villain of the story in my opinion since they mentioned Shao a couple of times I’m hoping for the next Story expansion if they are gonna do another Story expansion it should be about General Shao and his rebellion and abandon the multiverse completely 4.8/10 for me
Hey there. I know ive mentioned Lord Dracula from Castlevania for AI dialogue. But ive got another character in mind. Lady Dimitrescu (Tall Vampire Lady) from Resident Evil Village. Imagine an 8ft+ tall vampire lady facing kombatants and slicing them up with her abnormally large size claws. And killing them in her true form.
You got it. I was gonna hold a poll closer to Season 3 with a few female characters and see who the viewers want most. I’ll make sure Dimitrescu is on the poll.
@@nickfamous me too bro, even if Keanu Reeves ever has a chance to change his mind about John Wick being in MK then it’s completely up to him whether he wants to or not. Also Imagine what Agent Smith’s fatalities will be in the game 🙌🏻
