i bought one in 1968 for $85.00 had the tinted glass roof which i hear was a limited production model, should have been a keeper, it as a clean rust free california car, two tone original paint.

Had a 56 in high-school paid $25 dollars no tires,wheels on engine. Borrowed Spare tire from my and we towed Home. Actually completed the project with a Thunderbird engine about the same age.

My uncle owned and died in that very same model. July 26 1956 at Edwards AFB. As described in the novel "The Right Stuff".
