I just want to make a good video. Product reviews. Skateboard progression. support the channel: my-store-11414696.creator-spring.com/listing/ernie-creates
They used to have these with a vulc sole and they were amazing. Most comfortable shoe I ever wore I'm sad I got rid of them because they don't make them anymore
I was sleeping on new balance til lately I tried the 808 and I was blown away with how well this shoe is perfect I personally like the way those look over the 1010 s I just wish the 808 would get some better colorways only the suede brown , black and white are the only ones I dig , the rest are all ugly to me
Hello, I'm new to your channel. Its pretty interesting. For your injury get you some compression socks. You will feel 100% better. Have fun and enjoy your skating.
@@paunchcoorlightly4000 for half of the review I did. I went back and skated them with the stock insoles they are good. The updated version of them is much better the tongue straps help with the sizing issue.
@@paunchcoorlightly4000 for the second review (this one ☝️)I kept the original insoles in the whole time. My explanation in the beginning was from the first experience I had with them.
These are my go to shoes. Owned 2 pair so far over the last 3 years. they still don't help with plantar fasciitis though so don't expect them to feel like a cloud or pillow if you suffer from that like I do. maybe consider swapping out the soles for some Dr.Scholls or something
I just got these shoes in the mail and I bought them in a 10.5. That’s what I wear in nearly everything. These seem to fit more like an 11 to me. I haven’t skated NB# in years and when I did, the shoes almost universally ran too small. Quite the change.
I'm not a skater. I like how they look. is it optimal to buy them if I'm just going to wear them as everyday shoes? That sole with the metal plate and extra grippiness, would that spoil the everyday wear experience in any way?
Just copped these week ago but in the cool grey colour way, the grey are also tied into the Olympics theme like the wet cement 4’s.. I like these, I don’t skate but I do ride dirtjump / pumptrack mountain bike pretty hard ev day, so they get punished hard with pins on the pedals and thrashed thru the dirt and have held up well compared to riding in standard SB low pro’s, almost sold out here in Aussie at alot of skate shops
Yo I feel you! I did an update video. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gRjZWoxuBTs.htmlsi=knwtMHywymxGorpc They weren’t comfortable but the sizing is definitely off.
@@justifiedmasagony3635 these are more durable! Just bought some vans 3 sessions in I can see them breaking down. These I got my sessions in and gave them to homie who still has them.
i have some '92 skate half cabs in taupe. they are the old pattern where the kickflip and ollie panels are 2 separate overlapping pieces. and mine are all suede, no canvas panels. they are stiff and uncomfortable out of the box and take forever to break in, but once they do they are great. i didn't want to destroy mine from skating so i just wear them casually, i'll skate them eventually. but yeah, i could hardly stand to wear them enough to break them in bc they were so tight and stiff. especially in the forefoot. but i like that in skate shoes, i'd rather them be stiff and substantial when new and get better and more flexible as they wear away.
The Rowan Pro (OG model) is the closest thing to the Half Cab Pro. The Skate Classics line are narrow, stiff, lack boardfeel, and aren’t flexible. I hated the Skate Sk8-Hi.
I am in huge confusion to buy these or the Nike air max SC leather, these look way cooler than the Nike air max, but, for my every day college purpose, do you recommend me to buy these PS8 skate shoes or the Nike air max SC leather? Are these shoes to grippy or what ?please help me out?.
Ernie, what part of Mississippi are you skating ? I may drive over one day from Alabama to skate your parks with you, if you don’t mind skating with an older skater that still enjoys riding his board at almost 55 years old.
You just popped into my recommended for the first time, and I gotta say your channel is great for so little subs!! I'm really interested in what you have to say, so keep going! Hopefully you gain traction soon
These are literally the perfect skate shoe for me. Shoes like everything else are subjective to a point. I do have wide feet, not fat by any means. These are so comfy, the impact protection is fine with the std insole (170lbs build) and I skate transition and street - big slams
Hey man this is my second time coming across your videos. And man I love your content, it’s literally my type of skating!! If your looking to review another shoe you should do the converse cons series🙌🏽🙌🏽 But keep up the work I’ll be sticking around😌😌
@@Ernie_Creates Appreciate it. I'll not leave a wall of text - I do like the 440v2 but thinking I should try a different insole with them. Comfort will always be subjective but I do hope the PS8 skate well when you do get there.
same to me i try once in a while something new but just for an hour not getting to crazy into it lately its been hardflips and forward flips skateing once or twice a week just for fun nothing too serious i feel you
