I’ve tried your recipe today with my TM6. It did not work. My kaya looks like a paste rather than silky smooth kaya. Not sure if there’s a way to salvage the kaya cos it’s hard to get fresh pandas leaves here and it’s costly 😢 I’ve made kaya with Cookiedoo recipe in the past and it works. But thought I would try out yours since it’s simpler but failed. 😢

Hello I’m surprised that it did not turn out for you coz many have successfully made the Kaya. Did you use room temperature eggs and concentrated coconut milk?
@miyonetanya8544
@miyonetanya8544 7 месяцев назад
Hi Olivia, yes I used room temperature eggs and I use Kara coconut milk. I managed to salvage the kaya by repeating step 1 multiple times. It wasn’t as silky smooth but at least edible 😊

Your rice noodles looks good. I wonder have you tried to cook pad thai? What should I do with the flat rice noodles before cooking? Can i just rinse with water?

I noticed your TM6 has that round steam tray. Is that an additional accessory? My TM6 has the oval-shaped steamer, but not the round one.

Hi Olivia, I can’t seem to turn the speed to 10 when blending the pandan. It allowed only up to speed 8. What could be possible the wrong?

Hi I think you used the blend mode. You need to go to the main screen 3 circles to adjust the speed using manual mode. 😊

Hi Olivia, the blending of pandan leaves is not smooth as per your demo. The pandan is with fiber and still can feel the roughness. Can you clarify this as not to mislead users and waste of the ingredients?
@cookwitholivia
@cookwitholivia 3 года назад
Hello Janet, This recipe has been tried and tested by many users. Please ensure that the pandan leaves are cut into smaller pieces in step 1. Kindly check the recipe via my website. Thank you.

90c is too high. The eggs curdle very fast and you wouldn't reach the smoothness as shown in the video.
