This RU-vid is very healing. I was punched in the neck as a newlywed over closet space and me wanting to put my clothes in the house instead of the hot garage. I went flying backwards and somersaulted and landing face down, unable to breathe. I thought that was the end. Breath came eventually. I made plans to leave. I was very independent before, but just got out of the Army, so not independent in the civilian world. I walked out with nothing, none of my possessions, just what I could pack in my tiny Honda Prelude trunk. I discreetly made plans to leave. To my good fortune I was in the social work program at a university, I let my teachers know and they counseled me on what to do. I stayed in the women's dorms and was safe. This was in the late 90s. I have a huge student loan now, which was all in my name to begin with, but I just wasn't counting on room and board. It was the best 75K that I have ever spent. 😅
I met a guy at university and he told me he had a brain injury instead of his actual diagnosis. He needed a ride to Wal Mart for some kind of school supplies but I found out that he drove to the lake with a girl. In. My. Car. 😅 I was like, yeah, no. I found out later that he had made several suicide attempts and actually had bi polar. If you have an organ disease, you tell people, you have whatever it is, like high blood pressure, but with mental diseases people hide them. Why. No need. But most guys do not want a diagnosis, so they refuse to see a doctor. And they start that weird stalking and mental abuse. Bye. They hate it when you leave because then they have to start over with another unknowing girl. I would rather be single with a cat. 9 knew from classes that it takes 2 years for a personality disorder to show.
That is hard but true someone who doesn’t like themselves will project that on you u can’t change someone who doesn’t see there wrong u can’t make them care for anything sad but it’s u or them
Arguing with a narcissist will only add fuel to there fire and drive u nuts it’s insane like they gas light up and just go around in circles if u know u know it’s maddening
Oh ya my ex moved into my house we got married moved into his parents when we got evicted I lost my job my choices and his bad to leave I slept in my car changed my clothes at target every day and friend let me shower wash my clothes at his house being homeless was more fun than staying
Def done that staled my ex husbands accounts to see if like he was following me or writing bad stuff about me my accounts are all private now cuzz I’m still scared of him and he def used his family my step kid to make me stay
Girl go to a domestic violence place or look it up online and find some therapy prayers for you I know this was years ago so hopefully u got therapy by now

I escaped before quarantine Texas to Colorado back to my narcissist mom lol fun then she kicked me out after all that was over three months we got along that was it then I got married to a another narcissist lol thank god he kicked me out not I’m remarried to my ex fiancé he’s been great an angel lol
It’s okay to be sad. It’s authentic. There is no reason for you to feel shame at all, the shame belongs to the abuser and they like to scapegoat the victim. Honor your feeling of sadness and embrace it with love and compassion so that you may heal it. I have suffered a lot in my life and the best advice I got was to find purpose in my suffering. I tell you what though, there is nothing more satisfying to me than being able to share my story, spread awareness and hopefully spare others from falling prey to such situations. I am very empathic as well. Don’t forget to apply that healing magic to yourself as well. Building boundaries is essential.❤❤❤
You are such a beautiful , brave young lady. Keep telling your story there is so many women and men in domestic relationships. I was ! My ex broke my nose on our 15th anniversary, I still have a crooked nose where he broke my nose that night. But thank God I did exscape from that life with my kids.
I believe he was lying about his abusive ex. He was the abuser all along. His ex most likely reacted to his abuse and defended herself and now he's pretending to be the victim. I'm sorry you had to deal with such an evil male.
Dude a psycho and I’d bet he’s gained a few charges since you. Likely a restraining order as well. Glad you’re okay, DV is a nasty and devastating situation for anyone no matter if you’re the women on the receiving end or the man on the receiving end. Sucks period.
I have watched 15 mins and all we have learned is that she has met a guy who moved in with her who doesn’t work, and that she is getting $700 a week. Worst story telling
I don't watch this girl regularly, so I'm not sure what her regular style is... but I got about 10 mins in and just couldn't anymore. She somehow says so much and yet says really nothing at all. Normally, I want all the tea and every juicy detail in story times like these. But it's like she was trying to make a 1 HOUR (two part!!) series out of a (maybe) 10-minute story. No shade, but not a good match for me.
So glad you spoke of this, I know what it is like to so down trodden that you are not able to speak up the fear and threat of that person is real and intense ♥
The thing that shocks me the most, is how young you guys are. I used to think these kind of things only used to happen because it was talked about in school and in general. But even now when the topic has less stigma and is talked about in schools, younger generations are still continuing this cycle and it's just sad.
Hey don't be sorry for showing emotion I went through child abuse when I was younger it's kind of similar to what you've been through and it's not nice and if you need some support I am gladly to help with that❤❤
