I review car products on my own personal vehicles and give personal experiences with these products. I paid for all the reviewed products from my own pocket. Currently new to this whole RU-vid and recording myself schtick. Trying to improve every way that I can, so please bear with me. I appreciate all the support.
Looks very good for the price....but without bidirectional control even some of the included functions will not work on many cars.. Probably Topdon ArtiDiag900 is the better buy... Even though it's about x2 the price it can do much much more.. This is still kinda just a basic scanner with "some" advance diagnostics.
I bought the ArtiDiag 500S about 3 years ago. It does everything I need it to do and was less expensive than other scan tools that had similar functionality.
You basically only showed the DTC code reader/scanner portion. Can you make a video showing bidirectional capabilities and especially live data graphics? If you call up the TPS and AP on a graph and press the gas pedal to the floor does the graph respond in real time or is it delayed? Can you insert ba SD card and record your data on a test drive? I haven't seen this model yet. I have a cheap $40 dtc scan tool which is what you showed us here. What else can this unit do?
You can store up to 50 preset torque settings in the memory so you don't have to set it every time I preset my lug nuts and oil drain plug and other frequent uses
@@Hellcat71782 Recently purchased.....well 6-7 months ago. Also, after seeing how many videos are on this topic, especially with Nissan/Infiniti brands, it's a very common problem.
I've seen more then one auto rollover where the someone's head was crushed because it was positioned out the sun roof opening..glass was broken. pretty knarley
Very happy I wasted my money on one. Loved my British sports cars with convertible tops. Loved the T-tops on my 2002 Z-28. A power roof is the closest option available on most cars.
Can you share that Temu link? I have the same color,. thank you for this upload, it was hard to find an honest review. I guess if I got mine on Amazon (with the ease to return it). Would you recommend a brand with a glove fit?
the biggest advantage to that that I see, is that it can be laid flat after use and be COMPLETELY wiped down..no more oily bags with fluids sliming around !! nice job
I wouldn't make the plastic portion in contact with the brake fluid if I were you. Reports of these testers using cheap plastic that get degraded with exposure.
Do not let MrSubaru1387 see one on a vehicle. He takes them off getting thrown out replaced with a regular drain plug.He hates them with a deep passion calling them junk.I see them break off running over something
I drove with them for over a hundred thousand miles now, And I had yet to have any issues. It just made my life a lot easier when I was putting a lot of miles on delivering food and commuting to college. I had them on an 07 Yaris, an 03 civic, and a 98 corolla. All three were routinely driven on trails to get to our cabin in the woods, and never had a problem.
