Thank you, so helpful! I usually avoid ponytails with my thick hair because of that weird pooch that forms in the back. I combined your method with leaning my head back during execution and it worked a treat!
I'm so glad that you are back! You helped me so much when I first started watching you several years ago because of the hooded eye issue I have and you rock. Is there any way you could do a foxy eyeshadow tutorial for people like me that are in their late forties and still somewhat beginners in eyeshadow application!? LOL I love your soft cat eye looks/all your eyeshadow looks, but just wanted to do a foxy I since that was kind of a thing a few years ago. But I could never figure it out since you weren't online at that time LOL now that you are back, I'm going to take advantage of everything I can from you! Welcome Back!
What an underrated video! My sister has what i think are downturned hooded eyes so it kind of made me sad that she cant have the same makeup looks that I can have, so this video really helps! I will use these tips the next time i do her makeup😆✨️
That’s awesome! And thank you so much!! I would also recommend you watch my recent downturned droopy eyes do’s and don’ts video for even more tips! m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tGSKSpiHnXo.html Good luck! ❤️ P.S - fell free to share this video if you feel it’s underrated and that it can help more people 🥰 it would be so greatly appreciated!
Oh wow!! First of all, I’m very honored! I would definitely say to first have the artist draw it on for preview (as they always do anyway) and look in the mirror from all different angles (sides, eyes wide open, eyes relaxed, chin up and eyes almost closed, and even ask them to take a picture of what it looks like with your eyes completely closed) to make sure you’re completely happy with it before making it permanent! :) Also, I would go for a thinner line so that if I want a more natural look i can leave it as is, and if I want a more dramatic evening look, I can always add to it with an actual liner! Good luck!!!
I hate putting on eye makeup because it turns out looking horrible. I’ve resulted to tightline the upper lashes and apply mascara, that’s it. I am now excited to apply eye makeup tomorrow.
As for transition shades, I would recommend either a shade lighter and more muted then the one you’re going to be using in your lid, or a universal shade which would be a shade darker than your skin tone!
Hahaha Well I guess that's one way to do it! :) I'm sure they're clean, but it's important to also keep their shape for longer and towel drying unfortunately doesn't do that, when using that method too often.. Just from my personal experience!
That’s insane! I couldn’t do it. It’s makeup brush murder! The glue is going to loosen from the metal ferrule and be destroyed. I hope you didn’t pay a lot. I’m sure you’ll need multiple sets.
Thank you so much! ☺️ But yet still you could see the difference between the two eyes, after using the techniques I showed, right? So it would work with shorter or longer lashes the same way (of course the longer they naturally are, the longer they would look, but even if they’re shorter, the “correct” eye way would make them look more emphasized!) I hope that makes sense :)
I’m 45 and stopped wearing eyeliner because it was making me look sleepier and older. I didn’t realize until this video it’s because because I have down turned eyes! This video has made such a. Huge lift for my eyes and my whole face lit up! Thank you!
Are you reading my mind? I was just thinking today about this. Definitely can relate to texture being more visible on dewy skin, so i think matte skin looked better on you. The dewy skin on the whole face has tendency to just make people look greasy, unfortunately. It's better to use it strategically. But you suited sparkly eye makeup more, it made your gaze look more awake and alive. Although, the matte eye looked somehow chic. Great video!
Hahaha you were just thinking about it?? Cool! I completely agree with you And I like to apply a shimmer shadow all over my lid and then define it with a matte shade on the outer corner, crease and under eye area! That way I get the sheen without it looking too much!
Hahaha do I?? Thank you! She’s beautiful! For over 50 I would suggest sticking with the matte side more, as dewy can emphasize skin texture, but definitely combine some glow on the higher points of the face (cheekbones, bridge of the nose and cupids bow) to bring attention to those areas and give a youthful healthy look!
I was sleepy so I thought I might’ve been wrong about my guess at eye type, then I followed the natural eyeline with my pencil as you said.. Definitely downturned Thank you very much for the tutorial! I’m trying to get over my fear of makeup recently and this was easy enough of a start
Hey! Great question! I just went over the NYX video and I don't see I use the peachy corrector under my eyes there, in fact, the tutorial there starts with me already having all my under eye makeup done, so I'm not sure if we're talking about the same video? Either way, it all depends on the undertone of the area you're trying to correct. So at that time, I may have noticed more of a blue undertone rather than purple :) Hope that makes sense!
If I had your eyes, I’d be looking in the mirror all the time. They are the most beautiful colour I have ever seen! 😍 This look makes them pop even more. Truly stunning. 😊
