@@lewis2.0tfsi The 2.3L has loads more torque so the power at lower RPM is far greater. If you look at a dyno graph the area under the power curve is what makes a car feel faster day-to-day, not the peak power figure. A 2.3L with the same bolt-on mods will make a little bit more power, but it will make that power for a much wider portion of the rev range. An example of this is on the 2.0L Duratec, in the real world a car with 190hp on the standard intake manifold will be faster than a 200hp car with the Cosworth intake manifold, because the standard one retains more torque but gives slightly less peak HP. To be clear, horsepower is still what defines acceleration performance not torque, but more torque at a lower RPM = more HP at a lower RPM = faster acceleration. In a race the two would be very evenly matched at similar horsepower levels where you're only driving between say 6000 - 7500 RPM, but on the road the midrange HP is a huge benefit of the 2.3L especially once they have the usual bolt on modifications; cams, manifold, 60mm throttle body etc.

Já ho kupoval v roce 2014, dělala se na něm jen běžná údržba, žádný problém.. 2016 jsem ho nechal tátovi, ten toho moc nenajezdí ale i tak dodnes funguje bez problémů, už bylo potřeba různě repasovat nápravy apod ale motorově nikdy nic, jen olej a filtry... každopádně na mě to bylo slabé, do kopců ve 4 lidech jsem jezdil na trojku 80 na plnej protože se tomu nechtělo, jinak ale po rovinách a v méně naloženém to celkem jezdí dobře, výhodou oproti klasické 1.8 je 6q, ten jsem si moc pochvaloval na dálnicích, celkově je ta převodovka lepší než 5q, dalo se s tím jezdit kolem 8 litrů a dálky i pod 7 (dle počítání, né podle PP)... kupovano bylo se 140tis km takže je to v pohodě možná právě proto, jinak dle info od dalších majitelů často trpí na lambda sondy protože jich je tam nějak hodně a ta jedna je docela drahá na výměnu, jinak ale s dobrým kouskem dlouho poslouží :)
@@elsden722 Thanks man, but I just.. dropped the idea. In my country, at the times we have and the place where I live, its a really uneconomical option, so.. I bought a Daewoo Leganza instead. Its almost the same category tho, but a lot more reliable.

Ahoj, mám ten samý motor, ale se normálním vzduchovým filtrem. Projeví se ti zvuk v kabině s tím od Simoty? Podle videa je o dost lip v kabině slyšet, hlavně když se otevře krátká sací větev👍 Máš vložku nebo konus? A citíš nějaký rozdíl v průběhu výkonu oproti standartnímu filtru? 🙂
Ahoj, je to konus a uvnitř je to opravdu o dost víc slyšet. Momentálně ho mám vyndanej a asi ho nebudu dávat zpět protože mám udělaný výfuk. Kdybys měl zájem mohu odprodat za rozumnou cenu
HI! You better take some more driving lessons to sort out your hands on the steeringwheel. At the end of your video your hand was off the wheel at one point and totally out of control. Please do get trained properly, If you drive as if your makeing your driving test all the time as you get older your experience will join in to help. Láska zvuk tohoto motoru, jednou jsem slyšel soused můj dát jejich krátký výbuch plné rev je na boční ulici jsem šel dolů. Přicházelo to zezadu, a moje první myšlenka byla "to je něco vážného", rozhlédl jsem se a očekával, že uvidím Ferrari atd., Jen abych viděl jejich zbrusu nový ST24!
