just play different for whoever ur playing against. if someones super passive, play accordingly, same way that if someone's super aggressive you play accordingly. i don't think the meta is dominated by passive play, at least not in the way you think, but players are more or less unable to deal with passive players. the game rewards reactive gameplay, if you're a good player then you CAN play aggressively, goresh being a prime example of that, but sometimes it just plays into your benefit to play passively. full hand of strikes? what am i supposed to do, get pv'd? ssj2 gohan possibly having a blue or green card? guess i'll just let him land them...
i just hate the p2w ultra banners that have 10 thousand years old tickets system thats purely garbage meanwhile dokkan had like 2 or 3 th pitty uptade what a joke legends and if you cant beat them join them run top 3 and be passive as fuck also if you dont pull unit mostly on their realese later on they value is many times very down and not worth it anymore
i think one of the fixes to passive play is make pving close range exclusive so its much more of a risk compared to long range where u basically go unpunished for sidestepping unless fighting a beam character.
Do people here expect the play to be super aggressive and got PV 100 times? If enemy aint moving and waiting for PV i will just standing like UI player lmao

Well...i don't think that i passive play, i mean i do backup and i do stand in the place just dragging to the side, but after some time that i see the opponent is doing nothing i start pressing cards and all that, but i play more defensive, cuz i priotize my vanish over my attack... And when im in a situation like a 1v3 i do start playing a bit more passive. Idk...
I agree it’s the games faults. They need to fix it. You literally are forced to be pasive cause if you attack UG4 will green card you n ultimate. I don’t have none of this years ultras and seeing people who have them just pv fishing or you not doing not it’s crazy!
damn i feel bad for you, i’ve been able to get majority of the new characters this year including ultras but even then you ain’t catching me playing passively, my play style is a solid 65% aggressive and 35% passive. i only play passive when i need to collect myself and slow things down if im at a bad spot
@@Umbrasune I got new units, just no ultras. No UG4 and UGohan2 which are two broken characters. When 9 outta 10 matches is vs UG4 the game not as fun. I’m literally force to run Ulthan and SV with a fun character. I can’t just run a normal fun team.

@@Umbrasune I got both they Zenkia, I use him along SV and UltHan. It just sucks that I can run different units without having one or two units that will help you deal with the meta. UG4 is literally in every match I play. I sometimes feel like he was free unit that I don’t have. How much I see him in PvP.
One thing that frustrated me about goresh Every time there new unit, and sometimes i get them and try them out? I expected others discovering what i learn about the unit Example these new units. Goresh just doesn't utilize their abilities, daiz has the one shot Ultimate and stupid damage after using few green cards And say his title "ok damage" even though his daiz 14 stars. And i said "no its not, it does massive damage" And i find rai is better person to watch cause he discovered daiz has potential by himself
i mean keep in mind that goresh and rai are in two different type of communities i guess you could say. goresh is in the sweaty/grindy community of players who mainly just play the game competitively while rai is in a more casual community. goresh gives his opinion on the character from a competitive pov meanwhile rai gives a lighthearted opinion(couldn’t think of the term for this) from a more casual pov
He doesn't show them off at there full potential immediately like he's not even getting zenkai buffed in this vid and if you actually watch his videos he explains why he does this

Unfortunately, as much as i line infighting and aggressive play style, sometimes you gotta back up and take a moment to think about your situation, he probably did that because it was rush territory right there!
i’m sure yeah there’s nothing wrong with backing up and collecting yourself and think what to do in the game but it gets to the point where if that’s just all you are doing then what’s the point of playing the game if all you’re gonna do is back up and do nothing you know. also whether or not goresh backed up to play defensively or just to be boring, the point of the video was it would end if he played passively regardless of it being a good play or a bland boring play

@@Umbrasune btw I do agree with you that SSGSS is a mad disappointment, and makes no sense, I guess the idea was to give Shallot an additional playstyle, but they fell short in both damage and kit, feels like he doesn’t really excel in either role. And locking in at the end there was epic, especially with the doom music, props to you.

Great video as usual, thanks for taking my team advice, you were right about Zahha providing green cards and death buffs, but also extra max HP to GO units, but acceptable replacement would be goku/Bardok as well, since they’re still a wonderful unit. Also one key thing to remember is that base shallot has strike cover change but SSG has blast cover change, gets a little confusing sometimes. My fav combo with SSG shallot is double super Kamehameha, for that sweet 200% special move damage. Keep the videos coming my guy.

13:23 ya see the problem is you used a strike card b4 doing that shit. Blast cards give a slight more stun duration than strike cards xd. So if you used a blast before the green then swap im pretty sure it wouldnt drop.
