My Journey to Finding Home in the Philippines In 1986, my family and I were refugees in the Philippines for 6 months. We were grateful for the kindness of the Filipino people and the beauty of the country. I still remember the feeling of peace I felt there. Since then, I visited the Philippines several times, and each time I fell more in love with it. I am now living in the Philippines, and I want to share my journey with you. Please join me on this adventure of traveling, talking about my experiences living in the Philippines, as well as the pros and cons of living here. I will also be sharing tips on how to make the most of your life in the Philippines and helping others. They mentioned mike amador hes a deportee from US a OOOG of pinoy crip gang in US the vigilante crips he said hes the one who blessed em crip gang in cebu or the one who made em legitimate and official crip. In US its originated by blacks the crip and slobks but in the bay area theres a lot of crip and slobks asian gang sets. They're just not familiar in gangbangin culture in manila nowadays its already at ceasefire but back then we dont care if you're at peace back in your hood or not our rivals or if you're crip too , aight we cuz and locs.. yeah we connected by the color of our rags but, if were not from the same gang that we claim or not same hood or roots, or our OGs not really in good bond we gonna bang at you for us its kinda like points from our gang pride just to rep our hood and chance to earn stripes if we got someone had ranks from that gang. They'll gonna culture shocked back then if they claim their at peace in slobks in cebu and drop to slobks hood in manila like dapitan st. theyll end up gettin redrum coz thats solid B's side as solid as beehive
So Fascinating as it is Amazing that these Godfathers allowed you into their circle as there is a big network as some obviously do good while others are in the criminal aspect as it will be interesting as I am sure they won't be revealing specifics. This will be a super Feature as most of us expats only know of the "Thug life" from what we see on TV and media and looking forward to knowing and seeing the differences from USA. Like in US they can Not travel outside of their "territory" and Once jumped into the Gang it is for "Life" and no going in and out.
Derek, you are the man. This is great way to show the Philippines. It is not just white sand and beaches but real people living there life to the fullest. You have a gift of capturing great stories. Also in true Philippines spirt even the crips seem nice and have that welcoming Philippines smile. Tell AI,June and Jason hello and will see you guys soon. Keep up the good work my friend.
Sad stories about heart weak or ♋ Cancer or father in jail or hospital i do hear them daily on Facebook to every Filipino girls and boys i try to chat with on Facebook. I used to help them last year, but i learn that it's the way they make money. But here in Zambia 🇿🇲 taxi is expensive and bike's are cheap like half a dollar.
Been in Cebu and Inayawan 5 months now over a hundred trike and taxi rides I can count bad issues on 1 hand so small % are scammers and I've learned if I load a taxi with me and family for a one way trip over an hour He's gonna get a good tip
Off topic I keep looking for land home deals fixer uppers and stuff looking for place to fix up and live and leave girlfriend as I'm older but anyway FB I see more deals in lapu Lapu than anywhere else whats your opinion
I looked briefly in Lapu-Lapu 2 yrs ago and felt that prices were more than USA in many respect. So I stopped looking. But my criteria and objectives are much different than yours, I look for earnings potential over liveability
He Bro. I don't know how you do it. But you seem to find the absolute 💯 most Beautiful girls wherever you go in the Philippines. I'm here in the USA 🇺🇸 Alabama. I'm coming to the Philippines in a year of two brother.
It's as easy as simply verbalizing your thoughts. We all think it when we cross paths with a pretty girl. I just choose to verbalize it. Some will say "no" or doesn't understand, but it's a numbers game
You do great videos to give us all insite of life of filipinos and how resilient the people are . Is there a follow up vidio or information on her situation? I hope she looks into the requirements of cruise ship jobs ...i have meet several filipinos on cruise ships most avg 4 to 8 yrs working and say better then working abroad on 2 yr contract But work days are still long and pay not the same for all working same jobs on cruise ships Also she should look into compsnies that run the Gift shops. Art galleries, That are indeprndent companies thst work on cruise ships but not directly for cruise ships
You know, they have what I called - inate Filipino Kindness. I can testify for that. My family met several people who help us in an unexpected moment of need. They help us without reservetion. You can meet simple filipinos rich and poor in the streets without knowing that they have that great spirit in them. May God bless, Ryan and family. May God's blessing be open to you all. Good luck to your channel and bless ur family.

Imagine being at your job and this guy is telling you your too young to understand the business yet he has no idea?.. You should be helping out man and learning as you go why do you get all the info for free and make money off it. Doesnt seem fair to me typical US
Filipinas aren't the most detailed oriented people. Whereas Derek is really detailed. He was talking really quick and asking a lot of questions. At the end of the day, I don't think most of us even care about the business. We are more concerned with her physical attractiveness.
Love this kind of Video as it is just like sitting down with you as I have Always enjoyed our conversations. Derek is a Great Guy and Very Helpful to Expats as His Motorcycles are the BEST Quality and He is one of the Reasons my Trips to the Philippine's went so smooth and actually led to me Living Here now. The ride to his place from the airport is so close ($300-400 peso cab ride). LMOA about the Rat as I actually was riding my ADV and had to dodge a Cat sized Rat crossing the road by SM Mall and I was Laughing so much for about 5-10 minutes as i guess it was better then a poor stray dog. Ai is Derek's Sweet better half.. Keep rolling Bro and I Look forward to "Inspire" being ready for Island hopping. Guys should reach out and Rent his Bikes.
