So how did you pull out the sensor plug after taking off the sensor housing again? I tried pulling it but it come off? Any clips that you have to press?
@npjdiva5775 hi, that would just mean your service is coming up. The light will trigger every 5k miles as an interval and say maintenance required soon if your 5k miles is coming up.
@@dexd9801 thanks man. I just bought a 24' Camry SE and I plan on changing the pcv valve at 40k. I know how to work on cars but when it comes to doing things I've never done before, I like to be able to follow a checklist or procedure.
@@dexd9801 plus, I cannot find one video anywhere on changing the PCV valve on the new D-4S engine. Seems like there would be at least one video by now. I guess thats probably a good thing cause it means no one with a D4-S engine has had issues with them yet.
If it's the dynamic force engine then it's behind the intake manifold. One of Toyota's engineers thought it would be OK having to take the intake manifold off just to change the pcv valve
@@brendonjensen5675 no I haven’t yet, although I haven’t spent much time on it yet. Still drives fine and no check engine light in dash. Only on code reader.
These are typically recommended to replace every 36 months 36k miles as preventative maintenence to keep any soot, oil contaminants and build ups out overtime in order to keep the crankcase breathing properly which in turn prevents and premature oil seal blow outs or premature oil leaks.
