mike dantoni said ppg and efficiency rating was the highest when they started iso-ing and they did it like that bc the numbers told them to even tho it wasnt pretty basketball. But we are talkin bout reg season
How much Harden got the ball in iso is a testament to how good he was on offense for the Rockets. Movement is more difficult to guard and probably would have benefited Harden and the Rockets.
The question if he gets the Lakers Job, how can he make this stuff conceptual like playing out of actions. The NBA is more conceptual than running sets. I think he can do it.
"Baseline drive, baseline drift." has been a standard part of European motion offenses since the 1980s. The Spurs took the action from the Serbian national team. Sorry Coach Ham.
This is why I laugh when fans talk about how "advanced" today's game is. They're literally repeating basic concepts that were prominent in the past and pretending like it's some futuristic idea they came up with. lol
These are the best shots in the NBA, not "basketball" Other leagues have closer 3-point lines. Which changes what shots are the best. Younger players shoot worse from distance. Creating fast-break layups is of increased importance at the youngest levels.
I like this for the space it creates on finishing and even passing lanes. It's grass roots bball with almost a pro hop added to a good amount of movements.
You did something so brilliant here - just breaking the play down into it's components where it's a chin back screen, then a dribble handoff then a roll. Makes things so simple when you break it down like that
AT 2:08 in the video, why use a player's skin color to identify him? How about calling him a player, or an NBA player, or do some research and find out his name. I think we see and hear enough race stuff outside of sports, don't use it in sports.
Not really he has a case to be the greatest 2 way guard tho...him, Jerry west, John Stockton, cp3 and kobe I feel all have cases...but he is NOT the greates 2 way of all time😂😂...that's wilt...2nd is Hakeem
@@JohnnyRodgers3 Mike has multiple DPOY awards and is largely considered the best offensive player 🤷♂️ Give me MJ ALL DAY over Wilt or Kareem especially in modern basketball
@@BucketsBasketball1 I mean the DPOY and all defensive teams didn't exist...if MJ was playing during the 60s he wouldn't of won any finals MVPs, any DPOYs and made 0 all defensive teams...give me wilts 13 blocks and 27 Rebounds per game over MJs 3 steals 1 block and 6 rebounds🤷♂️
