You can give praise to Doechii without denying Doja Cat’s talent. Doja Cat is EXTREMELY talented and Doechii herself loves Doja and vice versa. They’re actually good friends in real life. Scarlet was a phenomenal album for Doja Cat and this Mixtape for Doechii is also phenomenal in its own way.
True.. Still agree with the point. I love Doja Cats music but Scarlet wasnt the rap album she presented it to be. It was GREAT though , no hate to Doja. But Doechii actually is doing what i thought Doja was going to do ,based on what she herself claimed

Yeah for Denial Is A River when she was talking about tiktok music, she was def referencing her two back to back singles "What It Is" and "Booty Drop" which were both superrr pop leaning. U can tell in interviews she wasn't that excited about Booty Drop in particular lol.
keep in mind, it is a mixtape, and a lot of these songs were freestyle sessions. the fact that she's giving us this much versatility and talent in a mixtape makes me even more excited for her debut album whenever it comes 🔥

We're not saying quite that long we're saying 3 to 4 minutes. A great Hook with 2 hard verses will always beat a great minute long song in our opinions. But glad to see there's an audience for it!
