Fantastic 90's throwback, but must say, felt more like Doom than Zelda. I thought, next she's going to find the not so secret door, pull out the BFG and start blasting the zombies to bloody awful metal thrash tunes. Had a larf when you said 'bathroom', and not the loo, and 'apartment', not a flat. I mean, the main bloke was a brit, annoying Amy was an Aussie, and you were quite right , where the sexbot was made is anyone's guess. So ironic that we would blow off doing algebra homework to play these games, but inevitably end up doing just that....If this, then that,...A+B=C which should be the bloody answer, right? lol Well done detective constable EJ, Cheers!
Omg was Amy an Aussie??? I thought she just had a strange British accent 😂 Most of my point of references for old games are zelda, goldeneye, Mario, or the original sims 😂 I was too young to play any N64/PS1 horrors unfortunately so the best I can do is Banjo Kazooie!

Yessss!!!! I have done a couple of horrors (: not as many as I'd like, but I played a few which I ended up binning due to glitches. So I had to quickly pivot to other demos hence all the cozies 😂
EJ arriving fashionably late, but proper, to the tavern management hype train. lol. Seriously, well done you. Saw this one, and must say was not keen on the cartoony graphics, but still a good game. Of the many that recently came out the first most popular is Ale&Tale tavern, which is aimed more towards group play, but has loads of foraging outside the tavern. Second is Tavern Manager, which has some cool magic bits, like acquiring a faerie kitchen staff. Both have sim like graphics, and loads of npcs to give voices. Also, in both, you get to toss drunken sods into the street! Can't wait to see which genre you take on next. Cheers!
I like the sound of Ale and Tavern as I'm a massive forager. I love foraging, it's my favourite thing to do! Although mostly off RU-vid as its not very interesting to watch 😂 I will definitely have a look at them both!

Have to echo what's been said about the flamethrower. You've slipped seamlessly into fearless badass mode, but you'll do better channeling a bit more of your craven little coward. Proceeding a little more carefully means you can sometimes avoid dealing with the alien because you won't attract it as much, or by hiding, and if it does spot you just use short sharp bursts of the flamethrower...you'll be forever running out of fuel if you keep spraying it around like a crazy person. Fun stuff, keep it going.
I haven't recorded Alien in a little while so I'm sure when I return to recording over the weekend I will be so full of fear and anxiety again that I will forget all about the flamethrower! 😂
So instead of teaching me powerful magic, my gift is to be a ...mushroom mum....right then, consider that box ticked on my bucket list, i shouldn't think. lol For such a simple text game, it seemed designed to punish, or disappoint those whom would overthink every choice. Which is just about every flipping gamer in existence, thank you very much. At least it gave some fun opportunities for EJ to utilize her silly voice catalogue. Can't recall if you played REKA, but if you haven't think you would rather fancy it. Like a live version of this, with a not rubbish story. Cheers!

Instead of panicky penguin, perhaps behave more like Feathers McGraw. Would certainly help you cope with the pixel horrors yet to come. lol Seriously, this was cozy and fun, but in your defense, they did expect you to work far too quickly. Have you seen Shinehill? The graphics are not quite so basic 8 bit, and you are an alien whom has taken over a body of a new farmer,( take that stardew!), and your goal is to grow and sell goods, while deceiving the locals. Can't wait to see what EJ brews up next, cheers!
Oooh I haven't seen Shinehill but will take a look! I realised I made a mistake with serving the teas. I should have been giving them directly to customers instead of putting them on the serving cart 😭

Enjoying seeing you progress through this blind. You are definitely learning as you go. Best way. Too many people go into it and know all the tricks. Ruins the experience imo. Out of curiosity have you seen the original/any of the films? Aaaalso they have teased that the sequel is currently in production!
I've seen that there making a sequel! I'm assuming it's quite a way off yet but I'm very excited for it! Noo, I haven't seen any of the movies but I've been told I should watch Alien and Aliens before I finish the rest of the game!
Badass episode, but...! The more you aggravate it, the more aggressive it comes and hunts you non-stop. At some point it will start to trick you if you continue with this path. It's a learning creature that learns your tactics, so it will learn to think ahead of you. So... less walking, less sound and less fire xD unless you want to make your end-game a nightmare where it won't give you a break, even for half a minute. Also, you will run out of fuel, because it will stalk and attack you more and more. My advise is that change tactic, start using noisemakers to send it to the opposite direction where you are going. Or go back to moving slowly. And check those small green lights, you are missing a lot of goodies. Also those logs, you should at least glance them quickly, since already on this episode you've missed two codes for lockers/doors and I'm not even through this episode yet! Keep it up! Your playthroughs are fun to watch.

As always a brilliantly put together video! Honestly, this channel deserves more views because your videos are so professional. But anyway, about the Alien; just remember that EVERY time you use the flamethrower on the Alien it gets a little more resistant to it. It will always repel the alien but the more u use it the more fuel it will take to make it go away. After a while, if u keep using it, it will just run through the flames more times than not and kill you so bare that in mind. By the way; what difficulty are u playing on? I’m rele looking forward to seeing more of this playthrough! Keep up the good work!
I'm on standard I belive? I didn't change anything in the settings when I started so whatever the default would be! Oh noooo not my flamethrower 😂 I thought I was winning now! Okay, okay so don't just wander through the space station without a care in the world is what you're saying 😂

Yes running is generally a very bad idea, except in certain situations you'll encounter later. You went a little off track in the server hub section - I kept wanting to give you directions while knowing full well it wouldn't help - but thanks to your unerring sense of direction you got to where you needed to go, albeit to be greeted by a bullet. Oh well...see you in the next one. 😁
I don't know what it is about this game but I CANNOT get my bearings and figure out where I'm going or where anything is. I'm assuming it's the constant terror in the back of my head not allowing me to fully concentrate. 😂 I knew this episode was going to be so frustrating for people, such a simple task which took me soooo long! @@TheOlRazzleDazzleGaming The game doesn't always make it clear where to go, and of course it also doesn't exactly encourage exploration, but I like not being led around by the nose...makes it more tense and realistic. I don't know what difficulty you're playing on but the game is usually reasonably forgiving on the easier difficulty levels if you want to look around. Anyway, keep up the good work! 👍

Fire stoppy button is indeed big, but no bloody good without a sign clearly stating that it is the fire stoppy button. While we're at it, there should be another sign that clearly states; Don't flipping run in this corridor, as Sir beastie whom will jam a huge claw through my tumtum, is lurking round and will hear anything above a tiptoe. again, thank you for being so very british about this. lol As much as i think EJ deserves a huge cuppa, and a quiet holiday in a chill game, i am morbidly drawn to see how this flipping ends, cheers!
I'm determined to finish it!!!! I believe the stoic britishness will win out and I will be VICTORIOUS! Also steam next fest is next week so I'm planning on taking a break from the longer series and doing some demos so please let me know if you've seen anything that looks interesting!
