This was so awesome to watch in the early 90s. Such a good videogames show and you didn't need to worry about constant swearing and f-bombing, needless sexual innuendo, or woke nonsense. This as well as Electric Playground with Victor Lucas and Tommy Tallarico were some of the best gaming shows.
Does anyone have a Charleston, S.C. TV-Guide from the early 1990's (lates-1991-1992) that mentions "GamePro"? I want to see proof that they aired in my state (if they did). It used to come on early Saturday morning syndication on the Charleston/N. Charleston affiliate WCSC 5 at 7:00am before CBS' Saturday Morning block for a 1 year.
I remember watching GamePro as a syndicated program Saturday mornings at 7:00am on my CBS affiliate WCSC in South Carolina before CBS' Saturday morning block in the early 1990's, from 1991 to 1992.
GamePro was hosted by J. D. Roth (fresh from the hit TV game show Fun House) (and, initially, co-host Brennan Howard), the program showcased many new and upcoming video games, largely for the NES, Super NES, Game Boy, Sega Genesis and TurboGrafx-16 systems. Viewers could send in recordings of themselves explaining tips and codes for games, one of which was chosen to be shown in each of the early episodes. Viewer mail was also frequently answered on-air. This show brings all the cutting info on the then-latest carts, accessories, and hardware. The show is fast-paced and jammed with all the favorite features such as Hot at the Arcades, ProReviews, S.W.A.T., Ask the Pro's, Viewer Tips, and much more! GamePro was syndicated airing on Saturdays & Sundays beginning September 28, 1991 to September 1992.
GamePro was a video game that was first-run syndicated ran from September 30, 1991 to 1992 based on the low-budget now-defunct partner to GamePro Magazine (1989-2011).
