In the ckt description you have not mentioned anything about PIC RB1 , what type of output is this pin giving out (as per your PIC program) and how is this connected/related to the Zero crossing pulse being fed into PIC RBO/INT pin. . This is what I need to learn how to do. We have an electronic pet door for our lil doggo.. Sometimes, it acts up or the battery in his collar goes dead, which could lock him outside. That's dangerous at this time of year with sub-zero temps. I never thought of using an ESP32 to just open and close the door, until I went to the pet door's site to look for parts and saw that they have a new version that connects to WiFi. That's when I thought, perhaps I could use an ESP32. Then I see this video, which shows a very simple project, which, frankly, is all I really need to do. Open and close the door. i will now do more research to learn how to code this and how to build an Android app.
