@@atheon3257 as someone who has nearly 4.5k hours in the game, I enjoy anything that’s actually new like mechanics in destiny. And because I take breaks from destiny playing other games including time off for college, and as a longboarder myself, this is the best thing they’ve added for me personally. Honestly I agree with you, I think a lot of players are so miserable they torture themselves to love something they’re burnt out on. I love destiny but a break was necessary. And now it’s refreshing :>
@@atheon3257I agree and I think especially with these long seasons, the drought is something people should take advantage of because there’s less fomo.
@@tanner5401Currently destiny is in a state where the players have been siphoned of everything they got and the game has become too casual, so destiny players are losing that itch they once had and are chasing other games and right now it’s the finals. I’m loving it
I remember when I was Master of over 11 Captains. 4 of them were killed and 3 betrayed me. My bodyguard Ar-Kaius has been with me since 2021. As of right now (shockingly),he STILL serves Me
You can certainly have fun as a f2p,i myself was one until recently.I was mostly f2p the whole time and most of the time also behind everyone else who spends money in the game,it is just that way,if you dont spend you will always be behind,i just bought few small things occasionally(small gem packs,2 dollars and something for 25 gems which is a crappy deal but whatever)Then i took a break from ML for about a year or so and just recently came back to it and i missed quite a lot of era's in the time i didn't play but i still refused to spend bigger amounts of money on the game even if it meant i was going to be far behind until i missed a few good meta monster during the last monster week(lab and shop) because of the shortage of not having a lot of gems so i decided to see what the difference really is between a f2p and someone who spends money in the game. All in total i spend maybe around 40$ and i was prepared for the current monster week(i did mostly monsterwood challenges that require you to spend money in a different game than ML,and let me tell you, everything there that gives you gems for real money is still a better deal than any of the crap that SP offers in their shop.So in the end i ended up with over 3k gems,a great deal in my opinion considering SP offers around the same amount if not even lower of gems for 130+$.With this i was able to get most if not all the current meta monsters,13-14 monsters, some of them already ranked(not maxed) though and still going strong,i can't keep up with the crafting and hatching them and all this in just under a week since the monster week started,so there is a huge difference between f2p and people who spend money, spending money definetely helps you progress faster and keep up with the meta. That said,im not gonna spend any big money anymore since i just tried this to see the difference and also to get upto date with the current meta.F2p can be fun,i didn't mind grinding to get a good monster but to answer your question, ML doesn't favor f2p too much, especially not new players, they nerfed most of the stuff that you could do as a new player to progress faster,i have no idea why.The slow progress of new players i bet throws off most of the players away from the game nowadays and that's a bad thing, usually you want people to stick with your game and become better at it and then later they would spend some money here and there maybe
I used to be nuts for this game on my moms phone back in the day always collecting gold upgrading and remodeling my islands but now I can play the game anytime on my own phone and it’s just feels so greedy and time wasty instead of something fun getting the monsters you want without forking up unreasonable amounts of money is ridiculous and the pvp is so tryhardy and strick 1 bad turn can kill half of your team or leave then even worse than dead with a bunch of negative debuffs overall the game just isn’t fun anymore from a casual nor competitive stance in my eyes and is now just a pay to win farming game execpt with monsters and it makes me sad
Yeah it’s really hard to solo dungeons. This activity is made for three people, so you’re basically doing the work of three people lol but I did it. Now I gotta do two other dungeons
Ngl This is actually gonna help me, never thought of using wormhusk. This encounter got me all the way messed up, I solo flawlessed prophecy first try when it released and i’m yet to do the goddamn pit.
Something that really helped me was “Protective Light”. Everytime I’m charged with light, and my shields are broken I get a damage resistance depending on the stacks, and you’ll see “Sheltered by the void” buff on the side. This with wormhusk really worked well and I had high recovery.
