Wasted money on a truck that size with a gas motor with little power should of just went cummins it can do Anything that gas can but with way more power and torque out pull the gas any day play in the mud can beat the gas in a race any day you my friend wasted money .
Bloc has a Cummins at the farm. Owned Cummins for 19 years and counting. Wanted a gas for its simple service and low maintenance costs, while in the city. Love both power plants.
Love mine too...got it in Oct 17. Small suggestion....rip that civic sized stock muffler off (the resonator too) and put something that helps the rumble. Which muffler? There are lotsa options. Tried a Mufflex magnaflow first...definitely better and was a dropin replacement. Then I heard another PW with a Black Widow Race Venom....consequently replaced the maggie. Couldn't be happier....pretty amazing and no need (for me anyway) to have a custom dual setup installed. Cheers and enjoy the ride...I do every day!
outstanding job...would probably take me days even with the equipment you have there. Final result looks awewsome....with the dearth of quality shops around PC FL I'd be worried about paying some fool to do it right.
John Carlin , some shops charge $500.00 to install and you never really know how it turns out. Taking the time to learn the truck helps figure stuff out Down the road. you are right Dude!
Haven't pulled winch line yet, I know dude. Still modifying bumper to mount second fairlead. Once done, may have to pull idiots out of my parking spots! Allegedly
Stretch that bad boy this weekend! It takes 5 min. Seen people put off stringing their lines till the time they NEEDED the winch and bam, they had to use it unstretched to get out of a sticky situation then another weekend fixing the damage. Don't wait. Find a light post in a parking lot and get after it.
Will pass along. I helped Bloc with this bumper Op. Thank you for passing along info! We always had beat up stuff in the past, cables way stretched. This project has been a bit testing with this trucks limited after market options. Look forward to stretching this pigs line!
@@THEBOXFATHER gotta get over that ;) the more videos you do with talking, the better it gets. Agree, I was turning up my volume and couldn't hear much. What's your experience with the bumper so far? My biggest concern is the winch being so far tucked in there. Can you stell reach the lever for free-spool? did you add a second fairlead?
It's a Hammer Head, is the Brand. Talk to them first, as I have to punch out a space to line up a second fairlead, to maintain the stock PW winch. No biggie, just would be nice to have it pre cut!
BLOC Zen... thanks for sharing the joy! The Power Wagon in on my short list as well. They just look so AWESOME! Plus the 'on-demand' capability is off the charts. Just wondering how the redesign will be. The new options on the Ram 1500 are really sweet, so you know some (if not all) will roll over into the new 2500's. Wish I had a crystal ball!
Barbara Schenck The whole package is very well balanced & clean. Inside the cabin is very classy with the Leather Trim and Instrument cluster. However the Bumpers are paper thin and need to be replaced with something like a Hammer Head Grill guard bumper up front and some heavy steel bumper on the back. That's the only thing that gets into your mind, as most everything else is beefy and able to take abuse!
THEBOXFATHER - agree wholeheartedly! Definitely one of the first mods to make if I go that direction. I checked out the Hammerhead Bumpers. I think I like the Kelderman's a little better (smile). Thanks again.
Barbara Schenck I almost got the Kelderman but the price point is a bit steep for me. Just put on HH on the Front and the M1 in the Rear. Took some time but came out well this week. Once the lights come in I'll post another video
