i almost like the more gritty distortion sound on the cheap one. i’d be willing to bet it’s not as versatile with tone as the expensive ones are though.
Dime playing the ML literally saved them, but it's not cool of them to just... come up with new designs on their own, without asking anyone, and just pumping out shitty Dime guitars for the money. Not cool at all.
What RU-vid must be really good to you guys that you can waste that much money can you put a part on a guitar. I remember when the song Money for Nothing came out it was supposed to be about musicians I think it hit the nail on the head a long time ago. How about taking a couple hundred dollars and go feeding somebody that's hungry
Well, where these the guitars made from wood out of a certain country that Obama forced them to destroy??? Or maybe they just cost WAY TOO MUCH!? I Love Gibsons!...but I'm Not Stupid to pay the prices they demand these days! Epiphones and other cheaper great quality guitars are on the market now! Gibson lost "touch" their market and reality as well.
That was meant to say Obama demanded Gibson to destroy their guitars made from certain woods bought from certain other countries! I remember reading and hearing that on the news years ago.
It was the gears in the tuners. They would strip and be unreliable. Everything else was probably just fine. Oh, plus weird, nowhere else batteries and charging connectors.
My EX mate was the lead guitarist in UFO. He swore blind by Blackstar. I told him he was an arsehole. Turned out he was. He was wrong about the amps as well.
I have several USA custom shop Dean MLFs I ordered during the highs of the DOA years/parties. They are absolute units. Beautifully built true custom guitars. The Elliott years were fantastic. If I wanted another one, I would have zero qualms about going to Dean HQ, walking right in and working out the order form with whomever was running the show now because I know that in-house wood shop kicks all sorts of ass. Big shout out to BraveDave and Jim6 and all my bros from the Dean forum!
I have both and tbh i love the Marshall just a little bit more...Blackstar is only better I the direct out .. Oh and Marshall is blackstars daddy so it Rules ... but if you get a chance to buy anyone the 2 amps buy anyone you like the sound of as they are both very good ..my plan is to keep the Marshall and also buy a jcm 900 duel reverb combo .. any good?
My worry about this clever device is how useful it would be on stage without someone twiddling the knobs for me. You alluded to this at the end of your video, but didn't go into how to do it. I am not great with technology, so a follow-on video on how to do this would help me greatly. Thanks.
We think it is correct to say that this might not be the best tool for live performance in many cases. You can use an SD card to save your loops and beats, so it is possible to build it all in advance and just start the backing band and any looping that you saved. It can work, but the people that we have been talking to that have the pedal and love it all seem to use it for practice, song writing and general inspiration. We are working on a new video where we go deeper, do watch for that.
Hey @SeanPierceJohnson @JayLeonardJ & @seandaniel23, I’m a Hip Hop & R&B beat producer. I’ve been getting into pedals with my music production. I was thinking to use the trio for capturing guitar loop tracks that I can then add to my song tracks through my DAW. Can the Trio do that???
Doesn’t sound like the same amp was used. The $200 dollar guitar sounded chunkier than the Fender which sounded thinner comparatively. Maybe if they used the same amp with no adjustments it would be a better comparison…(?)
I'll never have or use a Gibson guitar that has robotic tuners cause my brother bought one and one the 1st time playing it straight out the box the damn headstock broke bc of those tuners just absolute trash
P-90s kind of defeat the whole notion of a "proper" Jazzmaster clone, don't they? Not that it's not a pretty cool sounding guitar, but it doesn't sound like a Jazzmaster.
