Continued circling each other is a key. The Referees don't wrestle clearly. That referee needs to be penalized for the false call or over ruled by his assistant referee or just maybe the takeover of the assisting referee!?!
This guy shouldn’t be in wrestling AT ALL….As a human being and as an athlete, he has crossed every line, and thinks it’s ok….The sad thing is, there are coaches that are willing to potentially look the other way with him. His parents clearly have never said NO or disciplined him in anyway…..and it’s led to the exploits that everyone has seen since the head on car accident that almost took the lives of a family. He and Gable should be in the same cell with each other so they can FIRST HAND share their stories of assaulting women. ANY coach or team that truly considers taking either of these two should be shamed by the fans, press and held liable for their actions based on what everyone now knows.
Not to dismiss his shortcomings, but gable is at least the hwt goat rn. Kirk is awesome, but I don’t think he comes out on top of that match. Ferrari simply isn’t worth the locker room he brings with.
I am a coach and have reffed, never at the college level. However, stalling or evading the mat is not making a move to circle towards center or not making a move to engage, there’s no rule that says you have to engage in a takedown, the rule is to engage in action. Aj had just took a shot, and then circled off the other guys bad shot, thats action. That’s literally how any wrestler has been taught to win a match with short time. Shoot them off at the end of the mat, it didn’t work, so he circled towards center. No way that’s stalling. Aj has to get his mind right nonetheless
Was a freshman at Lisbon when Ryan was a Senior. He was always such a nice guy to me and the other younger dudes. Crazy to see a video of him back then. Also crazy to see him lose lol. As a freshman being at meets watching him wrestle I literally thought the dude was immortal.
