I'm Angela from Cloudfetti, a self-taught polymer clay artist from Australia! I started making charms and figurines in October 2020 and, here, I share beginner friendly tutorials with tips and tricks on how to make, craft and sculpt some cute, fun and easy ideas with clay and UV resin!

I haven't tried it in an air fryer, but I would assume so, if there's a bake option. I'm not sure if it could bake at the correct temperature for long enough, but give it a try and see how it goes. Just make sure to do lots of tests before baking a proper piece in it ☺💕
You're either not baking it long, and/or hot enough. You could also be using a brittle brand of clay, like Sculpey III, which snaps when it's rolled thin, regardless if it's baked well. There are several other factors, but the video goes through various tips to stop it from breaking, I hope it helps you! 💕☺
You're very welcome! I don't think making an ashtray out of polymer clay or glazing it with UV resin are a good idea, since they are both flammable, sorry! I hope that helps 💕☺
You’re so welcome! Over baking isn’t really a thing. If you bake your pieces at the correct temperature, they can withstand hours at a time. They can, however, darken a tiny bit in the oven, because of how long it’s been in there, but this won’t hurt it, and it’s not burnt or hasn’t been over baked. To stop that from happening, you can bake with a foil tent over the top, so it stops the top element from scorching, and it’ll help it along! I use a disposable bbq foil tray, as seen in the video. I hope that helps! 💕☺️
Yayyy, I'm so happy you do! 🦖🦕 I'm all dinosaur-ed out at the moment (😂), but I'll design some more in the future! I can't wait and I hope you like them! 💕☺️
This is the most comprehensive video I have ever seen about UV resin, and this has changed a ton of how I will do things from now on!! Thank you SO much!!
I personally haven't used that kind of resin, so I'm not sure, but you could put UV resin on a small spot where it won't be so obvious, just to try it out. Sorry I couldn't give a definitive answer, but I hope it all works out! ☺️💕
Thank you so much for this video! It resolved all of my questions. I have a question tho. I have the same Suny mini UV lamp and I used it repeatedly on a small piece of airdry clay, but it doesn't cure. It cures like 90% but it still has that 10% of tackiness. It's actually very frustrating, do you have any idea of what I'm doing wrong? I also used a very thin layer. The piece is also vey small so I expected it to cure quickly. Maybe it doesn't work on air dry clay?
You’re very welcome! I’m so glad it answered your questions! I personally haven’t tried it on air dry clay but I think it would be fine to use on it. The only thing I can think of, if it’s not working on air dry clay, is if the clay hasn’t fully dried yet? It could look dry from the outside but still have a bit of moisture inside it. I’m not really sure, as I don’t use it that often, but you could try it again on a test piece that’s dried for a few days, then glaze it and cure it with the light to see if that works. If it doesn’t, I would place the piece outside in the sun for a few hours on a hot day so that the tacky parts of the UV resin can cure all the way through. I find that the lamps are great, but it still doesn’t beat natural sunlight, imo. I hope that helps! 💕☺️
