Not really, I just slowly ramped it up so A. the rotor wouldnt slip down right away B. you can hear the contactor click C. I just like hearing siren ramp ups, smth about it is just satisfying, it probably was the sirencon p-50 that started this enjoyment Also the reason its lower pitch if you remember is because its on my Maytag motor, since I didnt want to mess with the original cyclones motor wiring.
They dont plan to fix it again, it costed them 6K to refurbish it the first time and i doubt they are gonna pay that much again, it would be way more cost friendly to take it down and preserve it as they should have done in the first place
I'm terribly sorry the main video isnt out yet, RU-vid is being snarky with me and I'm in a battle just to get the damn video out. I'm sorry for the delay
I’m just happy they want to preserve it, maybe if they take it down I could get under the hood and get some references and measurements for someone to make an accurate mini👀
@@northdakotasirens1520 sounds more like the bearings dying or the shaft slipping…I don’t think it would be that metallic sounding if it was the stator
I already said this but it would be redundant to do that, this P-50 not only had the rotor crack but the stator also was damaged and I believed cracked as well
What are they going to do with a fucked rotor and stator? I also heard the motor shaft got damaged as well because of how fast it stopped. However like I said in the pinned comment the owner is and probably already parted the siren out
