This test also does not work because Moissanite looks exactly the same as a diamond does and does the exact same thing where you cannot see the DOT so this test is false there are different fake crystals that look like diamonds CZ Moissanite and one more that I do not know of but Moissanite is the equivalent of a diamond even though it is a fake diamond it is really extra hard to tell the difference so the dot technique does not work with Moissanite if we are talking about CZ then it will work but most a night and the other one that I cannot think of probably won't work
First diamond I bought myself is a cute little Asscher in vintage style platinum setting with baguette side stones ☺️ It does look so small for its weight but it’s special to me and I love it 🥰 I love this cut so much!
Does this mean that rose cut diamond and moissanite rings can’t be resized? Most of them have an open back settings which allows you to see your finger through the stone.
What should you look for in a quality band? I'm in the process of designing one with a studio and I noticed a lot of stores we went to have precisely these designs which worries me.
I have a 1 ct rose cut moissanite and ill say the sparkle is definitely there, the fire is just more subtle and scattered. I would compare it to a disco ball that catches rainbows. Frequent cleaning helps immensely. I started cleaning the underside with a q-tip and now the way it catches light is just next level. It framed by two 0.2Ct brilliant cut moissanites and in honestly, side by side, they dont hold a candle to the Rose cut.
@@jadevt1939 yes, there are double rose cuts, didn’t have time to cover them in the video but it’s essentially a double sided rose cut! I’m not saying rose cuts aren’t beautiful; they absolutely are.
The rose cut just reminds me too much of the plastic princess jewelry sets you'd find in the toy aisle as a kid. You might as well set the stone into a tube of bonbons lip gloss. 😂
@michellemackay6684 I haven't seen many colorful stones cut in the rose cut, but I'll keep an open mind and do some googling on it later. Thanks for the recconendation.
@michellemackay6684 The sapphire and rubies I looked at were gorgeous as rose cut! It let's so much light in to really light up the color. Too bad it makes diamonds look like a flat window pane on a ring.
@kristenkillen rose cut moissanite that is small (1ct or less) and/or has maximum facettes is just gorgeous and definitely doesn't look plastic. I have one and it looks like a disco ball
People have preferences on what kind of stuff they like and just because your partner bought you a ring doesn't mean it'll look like something you'd genuinely want to see every single day until the marriage ends
I believe in “It’s The Thought That Counts” motto, but this video matters to people who simply may want to know what to expect from a Rose Cut Diamond. Not everyone is going to love the same cut or style of ring. I found this video very informative, I knew nothing about this particular cut.
Why do you people ask these really stupid questions? I could buy a dog shit and according to you, if I meant it as a loving gift, no one should ever say a negative thing about it.
Had my Morganite engagement ring for 6-7years now and no scratches(that I can tell). I wear it everyday practically all day and I work with children so I’m always banging into something without realizing. Price is way more affordable than a sapphire and still pretty good on the moh hardness scale 7.5/8 out of 10, sapphire at 9. If my morganite gets cloudy a little Dawn soap and warm water and a soft brush cleans it right up!
What’s with these people getting super weird, wacky, and gimmicky engagement rings? I can understand if they’re special occasion rings to wear, but engagement? Wearing day in, day out? For God’s sake get a reliable style 😂
Hi i need help I have chubby fingers and am already loving the split shank and/or triple row styles. only question is how are those extra bands going to pair with a wedding band. Please some advice!
I think she's done a video on what looks good on different finger types. Imo id go with thinner bands or get the rings permanently soldered together if you're worried about them pinching

Good information. At the end you speak too fast. One has to listen closely. This is valuable information you’re sharing. Speak distinctly about the major difference so you’re clear and precise. Don’t lower your voice. Thanks.
Please show the rings more! As beautiful as you are, I really want to have a better look at the rings, ideally with different viewing profiles. Blessings to all!
Natural diamonds found on earth and other planets, NOT rare. Lab-grown diamonds created by the only sentient beings we know of in the universe that are capable of creating such a thing.... PRICELESS
Everything you say makes sense. If you wear the engagement ring every day, it needs to be comfortable and have a shape that prevents its constant damage.
