Will the tiny fibrous roots eventually die off if left exposed? I feel like I can't possibly get them all in some cases. And I have about 30 trees to do this to on my property with just hand tools so it's all a bit overwhelming

I just watched your TikTok video on the Jailbreak Pulley. I’m not an arborist but I do cut limbs off my trees, uprooted and transplanted small trees. This is one cool tool. Do you have other tools. When I was pulling up trees in my backyard I searched far and wide and contacted Pierre Menard in Quebec Canada. This guy has created some amazing tools to use in your field. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xvuhWyF_X5o.htmlsi=4aA4ptmGeWcgtoeX I’m in San Diego California & purchased all of the hoist attachments. They work really well. I just thought that in seeing your tool you and Pierre would be interested in each other’s inventions.

Regarding the throwline catching everything - the first three days I tried that without looking at any web pages or videos I was afraid I'd run out of swear words.

I don't see why you would spend an extra 1000 dollars to get this saw when the Stihl ht-131 is just as good and probably even better.

Guys come on now……🧐. Girdling roots are just a small part of the problem. Yes they must be corrected for future health of the tree…..but the bark rot at the bottom if the trunk above the root collar is more of an issue. In your next video…..mention this issue. I have seen ropes melt on the porter wrap. This looks like a better device for not shocking the tree, when topping. Love to try it out. Ten points for getting out of bed and making something that might be superior.

Just got mine. The new one doesn’t have the battery loop for lowering to change out. Confused as to why. Guess some people used that to support? So far, so good. Proper rope is very important. Will ruin the wrong rope.

Solid review. I've had one for about a year and it's been a handy tool for sure. Solid design. I like that Richard has proper P.P.E on during this video. It is also a realistic saw size to use for such a mill. Thank you!

Lost me when he started spouting unfactual jibberish about other devices to sell his own product…. Melting ropes on a standard block what a load of made up swashleberrys, if anything I’d worry more about that thin lion tail on his device damaging my ropes

It's actually a pretty amazing device. I got to use one of of his very first prototypes and was really amazed. I did not know him at all. He stopped by our shop asked if we'd give it a shot and was purely amazed. I think that was the first and last time I've seen him lol. I'm not affiliated with him or the jail brake at all. Just giving my honest opinion.

I wondered what that piece of yellow line was for. I use a rope runner pro so I guess i don't need it. Initially, I thought it was to whip the end of the rope for some reason. LOL I'm stupid.

How do you set you slings/chokers up if your attached to the ball with your lanyard. I normally stay tied in to the crane till after I set my chokers. of course there no this how I do it 100% the time every tree/job is different but a lot of time I use 3 attachment points so the piece is balanced staying tied into the crane makes it a lot easier to get the line/ball centered on your pick plus you can’t move the line easier being tied to it if your slightly short on a hooking up a choker. After I hooked up chokers then il go to where I’m going to cut an retie into the tree unhooking from the crane. But basically I’m just wondering do you do that an just use landyard for the ride up or do you tie into the tree before setting your chokers. I understand being tied in twice is better but if your goin to unhook the landyard line an be on only climb line once your at the top why bother using the landyard on The way up. I normally just use the climb line is that not proper? I’m asking cause I don’t now in most likely I’m goin do what I do away iv done a ton of crane work an im kinda set In my ways lol but I like to no other ppl thoughts maybe I’m missing something an it easier I’m stuck in my ways till it makes my life easier lol
