🎉 I am from India, I have been doing this work for 12 years, but in India, tools are rarely used, normal father-in-law, driver, hour cutter, cable wire
I operate in a 6 county area with about 200,000 population and 14 glass shops. It's been 5 years and I'm about to be done and move on with the industry. It's a fight to the bottom here. This year my business is down 70+%. I almost purchased a well established and profitable company but turns out the owner was an addict and was jerking me and the broker around. I've been doing this since 1999 helping my Dad at his shop when I was 13. Dad is now "retired" and is also probably one of the most notorious and hated man in the auto glass industry 😂
Yes, there are schools, but really best thing to do is work as a helper and learn that way, unless you have time and money for the classes, I think it's like week or two and chances are there aren't any in your local area so you will have to drive out and get a hotel
Posting your poaching is pretty trashy. You'll never be anywhere near the size of Safelite with your mouth and lack of professionalism but good luck to you.
i own an auto-glass company out of Minnesota we have a great system setup great software cpa marketing team hired were currently only mobile atm its our first year and a half in and we have done very well were partnered and in with safelight solutions and lynx network, we've been able to get 80 5 star reviews on google in under 1 year full business and commercial insurance my biggest issue atm is i spend a lot of money advertising and all my customers and leads are generated from advertising, but all of our customers love us and always come back so it seems worth it for building the business long term, do you have any advice on how to get more consistent insurance jobs without having to spend loads on advertising? you guys seem to have come a long ways and I'm wondering what works for you guys and what doesn't for getting consistent leads.
Hi brother can you please provide some information about auto windshield replacement school. I wanna learn how to replace windshield, any school or academy you recommend ?
If the car and the recalibration stand are sitting on the same plane, that means they are both level to each other. As long as there is no yaw to either the recalibration stand or the vehicle then the recalibration will work fine.
I have a question I want to get into the Adas recalibration, I am a mobile windshield service out of the Oklahoma panhandle and about to buy my first recalibration kit. What would you prefer the launch or the Autel
The thinking of buying a glass repair franchise. If my general area is in the 400k population range and has all the major players (safelite, etc) in the market, how realistic is profitability
Hey friends, how are you? I thought your video was excellent. Let me tell you, I'm a foreigner. I've been working in auto glass for 8 years and I've been building my company for 2 years. Now I've ordered the advertisement to be placed in my truck. I know a lot about the job and I'm already in order. windows very good.. but I still can't figure out how to do the procedure to collect from the insurance and that stops me.. they also offered me an account with a large car rental company.. but they pay every 30 or 45 days… I don't know how much Go ahead without charging because they ask for a lot of glass
Great information guys alot of it i was already aware of from working for a company years but im glad i found this video to remind me of some of those mistakes you guys made at the start ,im in the process of starting my own glazing business in New Zealand doing flat glass auto glass and heavy machinery glass.
“You just paid $120k for this shitebox……….wait hold on, I’m getting a phone call.” “Hello? Yes, this is the PR executive for Cadillac and we are going to have to ask you to take this video down or we will have to exchange attorney information.”
