As someone who has always drove classics I've noticed alot more of them on the road as cheap daily drivers, especially 4 doors and wagons. It's also not just the older generation either, several of kids (20 somethings) that I work with have gotten into the classic daily drivers too because they are cheap top buy and cheap to fix, one of them sold his newer Volkswagon and bought a 73 buick Skylark for himself and a 66 Nova Wagon for his wife and still had money left over from the sell of the Volkswagon. I know personally I've saved ALOT of money in my life by driving classics.
